A New Day in the U.S.

The next day I wake up to a loud knock on the door. I slowly get out of bed, untangling Adrien's arms from around me, and I answer the door. "Hello?" It's my guard, "I'm so sorry, I had serious jetlag yesterday and I forgot to take you guys to dinner." I smile slyly, "It's OK. Between me and you...." I start speaking in a lower tone, "Me and Adrien went out to a restuarant and then a convenience store to pick up some snacks and an umbrella because it started to rain." Victor looks at me petrefied. "What do you mean????!!! I could get fired if your mother knew!!" I just shrug my shoulders, "We were hungry." Adrien sleepily walks over to us and hugs me from behind and stays like that. "You guys could've been seriously hurt!" He lowers his voice, "This stays between us, as far as Gorilla or any of your parents know, I was with you when you went to dinner and the convenience store." I nod. "Got it? Great. Now, you two lovebirds get dressed, we're going to Colorado Springs which will take about 25 hours by train. Now go get dressed." With that he turns around and walks back into his room and closes the door.
"Kitty, you gotta get off, I gotta get dressed." He mumbles as I try to pry his hands off. "Please little kitty, we're going to be late for the train and we won't be able to spend 25 hours snuggling in a train." He gets off real quick, "Fine, fine.....I guess I have to get dressed." I chuckle as I start getting dressed. When I'm finished getting dressed, I throw Fang a cherry and Plagg a piece of cheese and I start to pack up. 'So we're going to Colorado?' Fang asks me. "Yes we are. I'm excited! We get to sight see while we're on the train! I hope we get a good seat" Adrien chimes in, "My dad and your mom planned this out, of course we have a good seat." I laugh, "Oh that's right, only the best for Adrien." I say mockingly while laughing. He just pouts as he finishes getting packed up. "Lets go Plagg." "You too Fang." He holds the door for me as I walk out carrying my things. "Thank you." "Anytime m'lady." I bow down to him jokingly and before we know it, we're on the train heading to Colorado.

When we get on the train, it is very beautiful. There are red booth seats on either side of the train and we sit near the middle of the train with our guards sitting across from us on the other side of the train. Fang and Plagg sit next to us hidden from view from anyone. I hand Fang a cherry which he eats happily. 'Breakfast is served.' I whisper to him. "Hey, wanna grab a bite to eat from the other train car?" "Sure." He gets up the same time I do. I walk over to Victor and Gorilla, "We're gonna go grab some food in the other car while we're waiting for the train to start." Victor nods as we walk through the door to the other car. "This is what you wanted to do right Adrien? Try American food?" I laugh and he smiles, "Of course! I'm sure it will be delicious! It all looks great!" I smile at him, "You should try the waffles! They're delicious!" I grab a plate and silverware while he decided what he wants to eat. I grab a waffle, some syrup and a blue berry muffin with some hashbrowns. I look over and see Adrien with the same exact thing on his plate. I laugh as he gives me a nervous smile, "Don't laugh! I've never been to the states so I don't know what things taste like so I thought I'd follow suit." I laugh as he nervously rubs the back of his head. 'Can I please have some grapes?' I hear a small voice say from my pocket. Fang. I take a bunch of grapes and stuff them onto my plate. "That's a lot of grapes." Adrien notes, "It's for....you know who." He nods then picks up a bunch of cheese for Plagg I assume. "It's not as stinky as he would like but hopefully he'll at least try it." I point to some swiss cheese, "Let him try that. I personally don't like it because it's bitter but you know, he might like it because he's weird." He chuckles softly and we walk back to our seat. I give Fang a couple grapes then I empty out my makeup bag and put the grapes in there. 'Aww, come on, those were good!' Fang whines. "You know I love you bud but I don't want you to get really full and not be able to fly." 'Pleaseee? Just one more?' He gives me puppy dog eyes, "Fine, but just one more." I hand him one more which he eats with urgency and then gives my hand a hug. "Did Plagg like the cheese?" Adrien looks up at me. "He didn't like the American cheese but he did like the swiss cheese, not as much as camembert though." "Of course." I laugh softly. Before I know it the train starts.
