Goodbye France

Once I'm at the airport I spot Adrien standing outside. I smile as I see him. He's looking in the opposite direction so he doesn't notice us, of course he is with 3 other guards. My driver takes out my bags from the trunk and one of my guards carry my suit case while I insist on carrying my bookbag. We soon meet up with Adrien and his guards but he doesn't notice. So I sneak up behind him and whisper in his ear, "Ello love." I then wrap my arms around his neck, he blushes as he notices it's me. "Well hello love." We both laugh as I let go and he turns around to hug me. He then whispers in my ear, "How are we going to get our Kwami's (and food transformations past security)." "I have an idea but Plagg seems kinda lazy." He laughs, "He has no choice but to help." I smile. He gives me a hat, "What's this for?" "To help avoid paparazzi." "Thanks." He nods, "You're welcome." I then hold his hand as we make our way into the airport.

Once in the building the airport is bustling with excitment. Lots of lively people, people from all of the world, it even looks like a few Americans are here as well. "Very lively isn't it?" Adrien asks me, "Sure is! People from all over the world come visit France. You have your passport right?" He nods, "Of course, I travel occassionally with my father so of course I have it with me." "I haven't traveled anywhere in a while so I had to re-take my passport picture." "Yeah, we young people have to get their picture re-taken every couple years because your features change as you grow older." I nod, "Come on! We don't want to miss the flight!" I then pull on his arm and I motion him to a bench (our guards are nearby waiting for us but giving us space), and in a low voice I say, "Hand your bag with the transformation cheese to Plagg and tell him to hide somewhere on the other side of security, possibly the celing so he can fly down in time to get back in your bag. I already told Fang the same thing so they need to stay together." He nods, "Got it." We then both pull out the bags for our Kwami's transformations and tell them to go hide and wait for us, they do just so.

We get through security without a problem but since we have to take our hats off a few fans notice us and ask us for autographs and pictures, eventually we are through security and while our guards are busy with security I motion for Fang and Plagg to come to us. They come from underneath a nearby bench, "Why did you guys hide under a bench rather than the celing?" I ask Fang, 'It would be too difficult to reach you guys without being noticed.' I pat him on the head, 'You guys are great.' I then hand Fang a cherry which he eats happily while flying into my bookbag. Me and Adrien then go to a nearby coffe shop located in the airport and we grab a couple snacks and I grab some hot chocolate. "Isn't it too hot for hot choc-" Before he can finish I interrupt him, "It's never too hot for hot chocolate!" Adrien looks startled at my sudden change in demeanor but eventually we both just laugh. "Passengers riding plane 23A may now proceed to get on the plane." I jump and grab my bookbag and my suit case and Adrien follows behind me, "Off we go!" I say enthusiastically.

Once on the plane I look for our seats, "Excuse me," I say taping on a flight attendant, "Where are our seats?" She looks at our numbers and smiles, "You're in first class!" She then ushers us past many seats and into a seperate section of the plane with no one sitting in it. Our guards sit up with us in first class. "Wow, I've never sat in first class. Me and my father always sat with everyone else because he wanted me to learn to not be spoiled." Adrien smiles while waiting for me to sit down, "Sounds like he was a good man." I smile at him, "He was." I sit by the window, "I love planes! I love being able to look down outside, it makes me feel free, like a bird." "Me too! Though most of the time I don't get to enjoy it much because my father is always making me read in a foreign language book." His face then saddens as he says this, I stand up and walk out into the isle, "Here, sit by the window. No reading OK?" He smiles, "Thanks but don't you want to sit there?" I nod, "Yes but I'd rather see you happy, plus there's lots of sight seeing once we get to California!" He smiles and scoots over to the window and I sit next to him.
