House Unity At Its Finest

Chapter 6

When we get to Hogwarts it was intense. People are running all over the place trying to get prepared for the war that was coming closer every second. Thalia, Nico, and I all stayed with the D.A. and Ron and Hermione ran off to the Chamber of Secrets. Whatever that is.

I talked to Neville who had started the D.A. back up with Ginny and he said that Snape and the Carrows ruled the school. During DADA one of the Carrows had told Neville to use the torture curse a random fifth year. He couldn't do it so instead it was used on him.

"Neville, I promise we will get revenge on the Carrows. And Bellatrix. And anyone else who follows Voldemort." Ginny said as she walked over to us.

"Using the name huh Ginny? I couldn't expect anything less from you." I said with a smirk.

"Fear of a name increases fear of the thing itself," Ginny replied.

I nodded and headed back to the other two.

"The war will be coming soon. We need to figure out how we're going to not get caught using our powers." I whispered.

"Well with all of the chaos I can use my bow without being caught," Thalia whispered.

"And there will be plenty of shadows," Nico replied.

I nodded, "But water is going to be noticeable. I don't know how I'll be able to help."

Just then someone came running into the room.

"They're here!"

I ran out of the room and I looked out a nearby window. The barrier had been destroyed and death eaters were charging in. Spells were being cast in every direction and it was complete chaos. 

I ran down the halls and stairways, trying to get out of the school. I could hear the other two yelling for me but I ignored them. I ran out to the bridge that Neville had run out to and I saw a death eater raise his wand towards him.

"Stupefy!" I yelled.

I stunned the death eater and I pulled Neville back. Neville caused the bridge to explode and we ran back inside. 

I ran inside looking for anyone I knew and I saw Ginny standing in the middle of the stairway.

"Ginny what are you doing?!" I exclaimed.

"Harry just ran off towards the Room of Requirement. He said something about one last Horcrux?" she replied.

"Oh god. I got to go!" I exclaimed before running off.

I ran up the stairs and when I got to the Room of Requirement I heard six voices. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle. I ran inside and I froze when I saw what was heading towards me.

It was a dragon made out of the cursed fire. I closed my eyes and I focused on the moisture that was left in the room. The others were on brooms and they didn't see me. once they flew out I felt a tug in my stomach and I blasted the dragon with my water dragon. The dragons almost battled each other which was amazing to see but I knew I had to get out of there. I opened the door and ran out of the room and made sure the door stayed closed.

I ran and ran and I couldn't find anyone. So, I ran outside of the school onto the battlefield. I used a wand I found on the ground and stunned anyone I could. I ran off to the side of the school and I saw Fred and another redhead boy fighting off against death eaters. 

I ran over to them and I stunned as many death eaters I could. I got Fred and Percy, the other redhead, to run and once I got as many death eaters down as I could, I ran. And right when I did I heard a wall explode. 

I turned to look back and realized if I hadn't had the other two-run, Fred would be gone.

Eventually, the war calmed down. We brought the injured inside and we took them all into the great hall. Everyone tended to wounds and mourned those who had already been lost. It reminded me of the wars my friends and I have already been in.

As I looked around I saw Thalia sitting on the ground next to two bodies. I walked over to her and realized they were Remus and Tonks.

"Thalia? Are you alright?" I sat down next to her and realized she had tears in her eyes.

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine..." she said as she wiped away the tears.

"Hey...It's ok to not be ok. I know that you stayed with them for a couple of days and I'm sure you liked them some." I said with a small smile.

"I know but they were young. They just had a kid! And what about Harry?" she said with a slight frown.

"What about me?" we heard from behind us.

I turned around and saw Harry standing there with a curious face. But once he looked down in front of us he stiffened up.

"Harry..." I said as I stood up.

"No..." he whispered before running off.

Hermione and Ron had seen the whole thing and they had gone and followed him. I shook my head and sat back down next to Thalia. 

Thalia and I just talked for a little while until Nico eventually came over to us.

"Who knew this many people would die..." he whispered.

"Have you heard from your dad?" I asked.

"No...he must be busy," he replied.

I nodded and stood up, "I'm going to go walk around. See who I can help."

I walked off and I headed out of the great hall. I cleaned up some and moved the debris to the side of the hallways. I saw a man with a cat walking beside him sweeping the debris to the side as well. 

I didn't know where Harry, Ron, or Hermione were. All I knew was that they had run out of the great hall.

I headed back into the great hall to see a redhead running towards me.

"Percy!" 

Fred had pulled me into a hug and I saw the other Percy walking over to us.

"Thank you." was all Fred said.

"For what?" I asked confused.

"For what?! What do you mean for what?! You saved my life!" Fred exclaimed.

"Oh yeah..." I whispered as I remembered the wall explosion.

"You saved mine also," Percy said.

"So you're Percy? It's nice to meet you. I'm Percy Jackson." I said to the other redhead with a small smile.

He smiled, "Nice to meet you."
