Karin's P.O.V.

"Good things always come to an end..."

I didn't like how bitter those words had tasted in my mouth, but it was not nearly as bitter as the words that were to come or the situation that we were in.

"Karin, why are you talking like that? You're scaring me."

I frowned.

"Satania, I... I-"

Pain pierced across the inside of my head, and I staggered back from Satania. My head was pounding, feeling like my skull would burst much like a few days ago when I had almost died. Oh no... not this again.

"Ahhhh." I screeched, holding my head on either side with my hands.

I saw a surface of images, flashes of Satania and that familiar kingdom resurfacing in my mind.

I saw from afar that the fog was creeping closer and closer to the castle, appearing more dense than before, and there she was, screaming at everyone to stay in the castle.

"It's dangerous out here! Go inside, while I investigate!" She screamed at everyone.

No... Satania... you should... you should stay with me... inside as well.

I tried reaching out for her arm in my day-dream, but she seemed further and further away, and, suddenly, I was hopelessly paralyzed where I was, forgetting how to move.

No... Satania... it's as you say... dangerous.

"No!" I burst abruptly, startling the birds nearby, who rapidly flew away.

"Karin!"

Satania was quick to hold onto my wrists in a protective manner.

"Karin, Karin. It's okay. I'm here. You're safe."

"I'm safe?" I questioned. My mind felt all loopy, as if there was a fog even on my memories. Something was not right.

"Yes, Sunshine. You're safe. You must have had a flashback. I don't know whether or not I triggered a bad memory for you. If so... I sincerely apologize! I would never... you have to know I... I-"

"Satania..." With one tear, came many. Soon, my face was flooding with tears as a sense of realization had overcome me. "Satania, I am not safe... and neither are you."

Instead of interrupting me, she pursed her lips shut as she began brushing the loose strands away from my face, listening intently to what I had to say.

"Satania, I've been having dreams for a little while now." Here it goes. "For a while, I thought it was only dreams, well, more like nightmares, but then... then, I started having migraines every so often. With those migraines came a voice quite like mine though this voice would say things I would never say... or things I don't think I would?"

I continued explaining everything to Satania, from the dreams, to the migraines, to the voice; explaining everything in as much detail as possible. Maybe she would have more incite on these sorts of things.

"And, I don't know, Satania. I don't know if you feel this way too, or if I'm the only one, but although we had just met recently, I feel as though we've been connected to one another for a very long time."

Gulping, Satania was silent for a while, collecting her thoughts, seemingly registering everything that I had told her that night. She soon closed her eyes, giving out a sigh as she nodded in confirmation.

"I feel as though you're right, and I had a dream recently as well."

"You have?" My eyes widened. "Did your dream happen to have a sort of castle in it?"
