I never truly knew what being loved would feel like, until I met her...

Marriage with Satania was the easiest and best decision I could have ever made. No questions about it.

It was effortless, brainless, extravagant; boundless.

From the first sight of her, I just knew. I knew our lives were woven together, her beautiful soul burnt into mine.

"It's not fair," Satania whined, her lips down-turned, mocking a frown, as she lied beside me on the bed under the sun's glow. Her fingers raked through the soft waves of my hair. "You're always so perfect waking up in the morning."

I smiled, leaning into her touch, before turning to press my thin lips over her hand.

"It's a pretty even trade, if you ask me. You always look absolutely ravishing with your out-of-this-world vibrant red hair and your alluring golden eyes in which deepen in its color the more I stare into them. You are the epitome of gorgeous, my raven." Yes, ten points for me for coming up with the absolutely best and fitting nickname for Satania... and then, I guess minus twenty for thinking that. Dang it.

She giggled, and that giggle had traveled and bounced against the walls, sending a pleasant shiver through my skin. How can someone be so perfect in every way, shape and form?

Even two years later, I was still astonished.

"Your raven... I think I like that," she voiced, the nickname I had given her seemingly registering through her thoughts. She then cracked a brilliant smile, and it had melted my heart. "I love it," she beamed.

She soon moved, from her previous position beside me, and used one hand to lock my wrists above my head. I smirked, reading the lustful look in her eyes. She bit her lower lip before slowly releasing it, her eyes narrowing at me below her- really mapping all the curves, edges and any marks of my body. Once satisfied, her eyes locked onto mine, and she leaned down until our lips were less than an inch a way, her lips almost brushing mine.

My heart raced for her, and my body trembled beneath her.

The sun was setting, casting beautiful shadows around the room, Satania standing out under the florescence.

"Some fear when the sun disappears because the light leaves with it," she asserted, looking deeper into the pool of my forest-green orbs. "But, that light never truly leaves. It is in you," she whispered before her lips finally captured mine in a passionate kiss.

I wrapped my arms around Satania's small waist, pulling her closer, if that was even possible, sharing another remarkable night with her, in which would later drill my thoughts of her furthermore.

"Do we have to?" I found myself asking as I dried the clean dishes and placed them in their designated cabinets.

Satania let out a contagious chuckle as she continued getting ready, pulling her cloak over her.

"Yes, Lucifer would like to meet you." Yea, I would definitely like to meet him too.

"Yea... I'm so excited," I lied.

Smirking, Satania crossed the room and held me from behind. She pecked my cheek prior to resting her chin over my shoulder.

"You sound excited," she alleged, jokingly.

"Well, my night bird, Lucifer is the kind of person... can I say person?" I then changed my wording. "He is the kind of denounced angel you don't want to anger or it could end very badly for you... and by you, I mean me- a mortal, as you like to say." I was speaking in such a light-hearted and jesting manner, but the undertone was clear in its implied danger and caution. She quickly understood and wanted to assure me.
