3rd Person P.O.V.
The next morning, Elizabeth stretched her arms above her, squinting at the ceiling. The light from the window settled in the room. She usually lingered in her bed a little while longer, rather than jump awake lively, but something had caught her eye. Something concerning.
There was a small banging noise that was coming from outside her window. It sounded as if something small or petite had crashed into it.
Lifting the covers off of her, she walked towards the noise, wanting to further investigate it.
Elizabeth gasped as she frantically lifted the window up, frowning at the sight in front of her.
"Oh no. You are hurt..."
Her voice became soft and fragile as she cradled the broken-winged butterfly in her hands. She handled the butterfly with great precaution as if, with one wrong movement, it would get further injuries.
Tears filled her eyes, stuck in her tear ducks, as she refused to let them drop, until one eventually did, brushing its way down her cheek and off her chin.
Letting out a soft sob, she looked out the window, with the butterfly sadly flapping its wings in her hands.
"Karin..."

Seeing her reaching out for me, I had wanted nothing more than to hold onto to her and to never let go, but I had no strength. All I could do was whimper.
"S-Satania..."
She kneeled to my level and wrapped me into her arms, one hand resting behind my head.
"What's wrong? Are you okay? You look like you're having trouble moving."
At least, though I couldn't communicate much on what exactly was happening to me, she could tell something was wrong.
And, knowing very well that I was soon to be losing this battle, I had to think of something to say. Something that would let her know of the danger that would come and how much I enjoyed getting to know her as I had.
"Tick tock." The buzzing in my head became more like a drill forcing its way into a crowded space.
My breath shaky, I felt the rhythm in her heart quickening as I remained in her arms.
"Satania... I-"
"Yes, I am here." She quickly stated, her voice filled with concern for me. "What is it?"
She pulled away slightly so that she could look into my eyes, moving so that I was now in her lap, her arm enveloping my body, still keeping me close.
Satania, she may think she knows you, and maybe she did. But, she doesn't know the Satania I have met. She doesn't know how much you have suffered. How much you wanted so badly to be loved and admired but felt as if you weren't ever deserving. Everything she touches dies, she told me... everything but me. Her hope was once diminished... until she met me.
Would it all be in vain?
"I am losing this battle, Satania." Her eyes widened at my words, but I continued, knowing my time was running out. "The voice, the Queen, is taking over me. Well, I suppose the other side of myself is taking over me." Wow, not the time to make jokes, Karin!
She was not amused.
"What?" Her voice cracked as she looked at me with an expression I've never quite seen from her before. There was an evident pain and refusal in her eyes.
