Another Tododeku Story.

Breakfast

Hey so this is my first book on wattpad. My first book in general actually.... I hope you like it anyway, I have a few chapters backlogged but I think I'll probably realese them once a week,maybe twice. I don't know. Enjoy!

Midoryia POV

A soft ray of sunshine shone through the curtains and landed directly across Izuku Midoryia's face. As Midoryia was pulled out of his deep sleep he was stopped enjoying the comfort of his bed by his alarm sounding on his nightstand. Midoryia groaned as he rolled onto his side and turned off his alarm before sitting up and getting ready for the day to come.

He rubbed his eyes and looked back longingly on the weekend that had passed. It had been mostly uneventful because he had to finish an assignment and couldn't visit his mother because she was out of town for the next two weeks. He did go out for lunch with a few of his friend's though. He smiled at the memory of them sitting around a big table, eating, drinking and laughing.

He always woke up at the crack of dawn so he could do some training before having to go to class. He dressed in his traing clothes and went down to the gym for an hour before heading for a shower and getting into his school uniform. He looked in his mirror as he tied the tie around his neck and let out a sigh as it turned into a small uneven knot. Giving up, he grabbed his bag and put on his red trainers before going down for breakfast.

Even after training and his shower he was one of the first ones awake in the dorms, Izuku checked his phone and saw it was barely 7:30a.m. As he turned the last corner of the stairs into the common area he saw that only Iida, Tsu and Todoroki were awake. This didn't surprise him as they were the typical early risers, the rest of the class would come down around 8.

"Good morning Midoryia! I hope you slept well and had a relaxing weekend after finishing Mr Aizawa's assignment due today!" Iida greeted him in the formal manner that accompanied his hand gestures. Iida left the dorms every weekend to go visit his brother who was still recovering from the injuries that Stain gave to him

"Yeah my weekend was good, and don't worry I finished the project on Saturday evening." He responded to his friend, hand scratching the back of his neck. "Morning Tsu." to which he got a soft ribbit in reply. He turned to the kitchen where Todoroki was putting on some breakfast for himself.

"Morning." Todoroki greeted in his monotone voice, "Do you want some bacon?" He asked as he shot the green haired boy a glance over his right shoulder, his white hair still looked a bit wet from a shower.

"That would be great Todoroki, thank you!" Midoryia answered while getting a glass of water before sitting down at the kitchen island and pulling out his hero notebook with a pen. Before he began reviewing notes he couldn't help but look at the back of the dual-coloured boys head and think about all they had been through together since the beginning of the year. After the sports festival they began talking to each other after class, but it was during their time in hospital after their run in with Stain when they had actually become friends.

Sometimes Midoryia worried about the boy because he was always quiet but he had come out of his shell alot over the past few months and he even began helping him Iida and Uraraka to study for school and came out to cafés and such with them sometimes, this made midoryia happy, probably because he was watching his friend begin to socialise more with the rest of their classmates. It seemed that he had become more comfortable around people in general.

He was brought out of his thoughts by his pen rolling off the counter, which he picked up and started to take notes on whichever hero's came into his head. He unknowingly began muttering under his breath and didn't even notice Todoroki sit beside him and place two plates of bacon, eggs and bread in front of them. He was brought back to reality by a poke in the bicep.

"Midoryia, you're muttering again." Midoryia unwillingly jumped in his seat, winning a soft chuckle from the other boy. He snapped the notebook closed on his pen and began to eat, uttering a small apology and thanks, trying to hide the pink dusting that he could feel rise up his neck before settling on his cheeks.

Before the pair had finished eating they were greeted by Uraraka who made a small breakfast and sat next to Tsu with her feet up under her. Midoryia smiled as he saw Tsu wrap an arm around his friend's shoulder and pull her in close. He found it kind of wierd how two of his closest friends started dating recently, especially as he had a small crush on Uraraka at the beginning of the year, but he was very happy for them.

After Uraraka, there was a steady stream of his classmates coming into the common area. Midoryia finished his food, thanked Todoroki again and brought both their plates to the sink to be washed later, before wandering over to sit on the couch with Momo, Kaminari , Uraraka, Tsu and Jiro. Jiro was twirling one of her earphone jacks around her finger,almost nervously. Soon it was time for the group to start walking towards the school, Iida had already left, and they arrived a few minutes before the bell.

They were all signalled to take their seats when the bell rang, and a moment later the door opened. Mr Aizawa crawled in, still in his yellow sleeping back which made him look like a slug. He slipped out of the sleeping bag and stepped up to the front of the class. The teacher collected the due projects before continuing with home room.

The day seemed to drag for Midoryia and he caught himself in the middle of a daydream multiple times. When lunch finally came Deku and his friend's made their way to the mess hall. It was a special day today because Lunch Rush had made mochi! As they sat and finished their meal Midoryia offered one of his precious mochi to Todoroki, as a payment for breakfast. As he did this he saw Uraraka glance at him then look at Mina and Tsu before they all started giggling. He made a mental note to question her about it later.

There's chapter 1! I would like this book to be more of a slow burn I think.
