Another Tododeku Story.

Confession

Midoryia POV

"...I-I'm gay."

Midoryia's heart exploded. Hope flared in his chest, he was so full of emotion he wanted to cry. He was on the verge of tears from Todoroki's emotional speech beforehand but this nearly brought him over the edge.

But then Deku noticed that Todoroki's eyes were closed, and his face was slightly scrunched up, as if he was expecting to be hit by something. Then he realised he that hadn't said anything yet. Deku didn't know what to say, so instead, he moved slightly towards Todoroki and slowly wrapped his arms around the bi-coloured boy. Gripping him in a firm, caring hug.

After a minute, he felt Todoroki's tense body relax a little bit, and Shoto slowly returned the hug. Midoryia rubbed small circles on Todoroki's back. The two boys stayed like this for a bit, only able to hear the rain beating on the ground.

"Thank you for trusting me enough to tell me Todo.... It really means alot. You know I'll accept you however you are, you're one of my best friends- maybe even my best friend," Midoryia said, giving the other boy a small squeeze before pulling away and sitting opposite him, "but you aren't the only one with something to say."

Midoryia didnt know what he was doing, he just blurted this out, almost on instinct. Todoroki finally raised his chin to look at Midoryia with curiosity in his slightly red eyes. Deku didn't notice that Shoto had cried into his shoulder.

"Todo...." It was now Midoryia's turn to look away, he felt his face heat up and his hands started fidgeting, "First of all, you could never inconvenience me by talking about anything personal, I'm here for you, because I know you're there for me aswell. And secondly... Ive started thinking the past few weeks. And i only really realised this a week ago but... I'm p-pretty sure that I'm bi..."

Midoryia shot a glance toward Todoroki. The bi-coloured boy was sitting there with a small look of disbelief on his face. "What was I thinking doing it now! That's exactly it, I wasn't thinking." Izuku thought to himself as he closed his eyes and listened to the rain.

Then he heard a small chuckle coming from the boy beside him. Midoryia looked up and was greeted by the sweetest smile he had ever seen on Todoroki's face, with a strong look of fondness in his eyes. The sight alone was enough to make Deku feel as if he was melting, and he thought he was because the fire of hope was burning so strongly within him.

"Sorry, It's just that I don't know what I was so worried about. I had tonight planned out all day, exactly where to go, what to say. But of course I didn't need that, of course you wouldn't need any convincing. You are truly the sweetest, most kind hearted and trustworthy person I have ever met Izuku Midoryia. Thank you for telling me aswell, I know how hard it is."

"Todo..." Midoryia didnt know what to do at this point, he felt as if he was about to burst if he didn't spill everything to Todoroki at this moment, under a tree in the rain on a chilly Friday night.

"Todo, I didn't just start thinking about it randomly. There was a catalyst of sorts... It was a person." Deku looked up again and saw Shoto was listening intently, there was a different sparkle in his eyes then the one that was there a moment ago, It seemed familiar to Midoryia for some reason.

"This person is just so incredible that I want to spend all of my time with them... I wake up and go to sleep thinking of them, I can't pay attention in class because I'm remembering how we spent time together the day before. This person came to my rescue when I needed it, and we worked as a team more than once. I just want to tell them how I feel about them, but I'm not sure if they will return those feelings."
