Not too long ago, perhaps maybe five years ago, my parents business value skyrocketed. We practically became millionaires over night! Which also means our money troubles were no longer an issue, and we were able to pay off our mortgage and debts within a month! Now, because of the nature of my parents job, they recently decided to pack up and move to Japan. Honestly I'm a bit panicked as well... I suck ass at Japanese.... sure I remember a few words and phrases, but seriously! I'm flipping out here!!!
To make matters worse, I have to attend a school with a bunch of 'rich daddy/mommy' snobs. I practically begged my parents on the floor to go to a normal Japanese school, but they denied my request. According to them, because of their success, I could easily become a target or something if I wasn't protected well enough. I honestly think they're overly paranoid and still new to this "being rich af" thing. I kinda just slid into it pretty chill. Money was never a big deal to me, but it did open doors to adventure I previously couldn't have imagined!
Personally, I really hope that since they're all rich kids at this Ouran place, their parents had them learn English for overseas businesses. It would at least take a load off my shoulders, ha.~
It's been a month since my parents big announcement about Japan. We made it to Our new home without a problem, but that just means all my stress is going towards school even more. I have to start tomorrow! And I still don't speak clear Japanese! I'm literally doomed...
~
"Today's the day..." I stood outside Ouran's grand gates in a state of awe. "This place is incredible."
"Have a lovely day, mademoiselle Erwood."
Mr. Ito , my chauffeur, smiled.
"You too, sir!" He nodded and drove off. I took a few deep breaths and focused my energy to my new environment.
"This place is absolutely fantastic! The architecture! The sculptures! The colors! It's wonderful!" I gazed in awe at the beautiful display of wealth before me. Before panic returned with the chime of the bell. I scooped up my dress and ran as fast as my legs could carry me. I made it inside the building, heaving and adjusting the unconventional and uncomfortable uniform.
"Holy shit.... I can't even understand what they're all saying anyway...." In my moment of amazement outside, I'd already forgotten my most fatal flaw.... I'm an English only doofus. I eventually decided to wander the spacious halls and marvel at the artistry and beauty of this place instead of waste my time in classes I couldn't understand.
"How could anyone get anything done in such a place? I could stare for hours!" Honestly, it's just... breathtaking... I wandered further through the corridors, shuffling through the student each time the bell rang. Hours past, hours I spent touching, photographing, and staring. The architecture reminded me of France, like a sister or cousin to the palace of Versailles. Though much less ornate, it still reminded me of it. The clock tower, however, certainly reminded me of the Tower of London and her clock, Big Ben. Through my travels, I discovered an old music room after I was pretty guiltily positive school was over..
"Perhaps I can practice singing! This room is pretty far out, and I'm sure it has some great acoustics." My grandmother says I have the voice of a song bird, even so, I do feel a bit anxious when people compliment me on my voice, I just feel like I don't deserve it. I opened the door, but... It wasn't an abandoned music room at all. Beautiful rose petals danced around me like a scene from an extremely shoujo anime.
"A host club???"
