A Disaster in Reverse

Water drains from the house as its floors and furniture dry. Every last drop disappears as everything goes back to where its supposed to be. Glass seamlessly puts itself back into place as the tree that smashed it rights itself back up, its roots taking a firm hold of the ground. The splintered beams pick themselves up piece by piece and continue their job of keeping the house standing solid and strong. As the water recedes from the yard, the wind picks up the fallen fence and broken shingles like nothing had happened, patching every hole. Leaving the house to remain a home.
