"I can't believe you had a sex dream." Riley's dumbstruck face and the continuation of this sentence was the only response I got when I retold the events.
"Shhh" I quickly scanned the room, finding my cousins and their friends in different stages of drunkness. We had been at my aunt Jessica's house for over an hour, playing drinking games resulting in most of us to be quite loose with our tongue. I.e. me telling my best friend about my dream of a certain guy I should not be allowing myself to dream about. All the parents of my family were over at mine most likely reminiscing about younger ages and being sad of my cousins impending nuptials. Leaving the girl cousins of my family and Rebecca's close friends to start in the bachelorette rituals.
"It isn't that big of a deal," I reasoned, "It was just cause I saw him last and he was on my mind."
Riley rolled her eyes at me, "Why can't you just admit it, mia, you like him, probably more than like. You haven't properly dated in years, I knew it was because of some mystery guy that you were comparing everyone too, but I didn't know it was Killian fucking Stone!"
"Shhh." I slapped my hand over her drunken mouth, did she have to go so loud on just his name.
"Stone? As in Killian? Damn, that boy is fine!" I glared at Riley who was looking super guilty before turning to face one of Rebecca's college friends, I think her name was Lisa.
"Ahhhhh, yeah, Riley was just saying how hot all those players are, Stone just casually came up, you know in our casual conversation." Lisa quirked an eyebrow at me.
"Smooth," Riley whispered. I took a big gulp of my drink, lemonade and vodka, heavy on the vodka, and smiled slightly at Lisa. I was completely chill.
"He is so hot! If I wasn't so smitten with Jake I would totally do him." The next girl said she had big brown curls, I think her name was Shia and she was actually married to someone in the football world too.
A bunch of the girls burst into laughter at her comment.
"I agree, Shia," oh yay correct name, now just to work out who the redhead is, "and it wouldn't be hard to get him for one night, it's the making him stay that's the problem apparently."
Rebecca sat next to her and rolled her eyes at me. She had warned me before that most of the girls invited were nice people, but when drinking could get a little superficial, especially since most of them were in some way married to someone famous. They were competitive as Rebbecca stated it. They weren't bad, just being girls, but hearing about Killian's sexual activity's wasn't at the top of my list for a fun time. And I didn't wanna just tell them, and be all like 'oh yeah I'm one of those stupid girls who thought she could tame him.'
The redhead leaned into the group as if she had a major secret to tell, everyone was now focused on this conversation. "My close friend, Kaley, was telling me he is the best lay she has ever had." Her British voice screeched in amazement. She flipped her gorgeous hair over her fancy dress by some amazing designer which she excitedly told me when we met earlier in the night. When my face had shown no recognition of the name, she was utterly confused as to why I did not know who they were. I was utterly terrible at fashion, loved dresses and looking pretty but terrible at the brand side. Don't even ask me about bags! My cousin, Rachel, still gives me looks of horror about the discovery I did not know what a Birkin bag was.
Riley leaned closer to me and whispered in my ear, "Do you think he was the best lay ever?"
"Riley," I scorned, "But yes." I took another big gulp of my drink.
"I heard that he had a super impress appendage," Shia winked, but in her drunken state, it was more of a slow eye close and open. Everyone else burst out laughing.
"What about Lance? I wouldn't mind getting under that man." Emily my cousin stated as she walked to sit down next to me with a glass of wine in her hand.
"Emilllyyy!" Rebecca said in surprise.
Emily smirked at her in reply, she was a tad into the two bottles of wines she had brought with her, as in finished the first on to her second.
"Who's Lance?" I asked smiling at my cousin's sudden happiness due to thoughts of this guy.
At my words, the group of girls all swung their heads towards me with the new girls wearing looks of horror and outrage, whilst my cousins and Riley just looked at me with understanding and sadness.
"He's the quarterback for the LA chargers." Lucy my oldest cousin answered softly. Always the calmest and understanding of us cousins, but I guess that came with the territory of being the oldest.
"He's not just the quarterback." The blonde Lisa stated in outrage, "He is the smoking hot guy, who has the perfect combination of blonde hair and blue eyes. I mean damn." She fell against her seat in dramatics.
"Oh that Lance." I tried to stay out of the football world as much as I could, but even I heard of the men who were making all the headlines. Lance and Killian were up there as the new hotshots of the game.
"Okay enough about hot guys, the limo will be here in two hours, and some of us need to get ready." My cousin Rachel turned to glare at me and Riley. I honestly thought we were doing a whole slumber get prepared sorta night, not straight away drinkin till ya drop. So I was currently sat comfortably in my sweats. When I had suggested to my cousins that I was happy to go clubbing like this, the cries of annoyance had been outstanding, I had agreed to borrow a dress from Rachel.
The only problem I had was that Rachel was a bit slimmer around the butt. But anyway, I dropped my drink on the table in front and pulled Riley with me to go upstairs to get ready for the night.
