Running down the hallways trying to get to the tourney field for cheerleading tryouts isn't easy. As co-captain of the cheer squad, I must be there so there is no escaping Audrey this time. Racing against time, I managed to bump into the only person in the hallway knocking me down. HARD, on my butt. I whimpered in pain, rubbing my butt. "I'm so sorry. I must have been distracted. I didn't see you, I was in a hurry to get somewhere..." I apologized as I slowly raised my head and was met with those brown gorgeous eyes again.
"Oh! C-Carlos" I stuttered, I'm so embarrassed right now. God Bella, can you be any more clumsy? "No, I should apologize to you, Princess. I was standing in the middle, 'cause I'm a bit lost" He said rubbing the back of his neck nervously. I usually don't like it when people call me 'Princess' but when he says it, it makes my mind go places I never imagined. He extends his hand out to help me up, I gladly take it. My eyes were locked on to his, as I forget we were holding hands still. I quickly took my hand back, even more embarrassed. Come on Bella, get yourself together. "Where are you trying to get to," I asked softly avoiding the whole situation.
"To the tourney field, I would have gone with Jay but I changed my mind last minute" he smiled slightly. "I'm heading there as well, I'll show you the way. Come with me" I managed to speak after all that embarrassment. "Destiny? Made to happen? I pray on FGM that it is so" I thought with a smile. "Okay," he answered. We walked all the way to the field, making small talk. I never knew that he loves candy and that he is interested to be in the science club. I might have to ask Doug for a small favor on that matter.
