You always had problems with stress and anxiety. It was something you couldn't avoid or control. Every little thing made you panic and every little thing made you feel under pressure. Sometimes it got so bad that you started scratching yourself until you bled, and other times you started shaking out of nowhere and you could feel your heart beat so fast that you thought it was going to explode.
Seonghwa didn't know about this when you started to date, but he eventually found out when you were out together and you started panicking because of the crowd of people. That time he helped you get over with, and you were thankful for it, but you felt so ashamed of the fact that he had seen you so weak, that since then every time you were feeling like that, you tried to keep it from him. You tried to hide it and hold it back, and once it was getting unbearable you just avoided him.
That night he told you he was going to be home late because of practice, but in reality he only wanted to surprise you getting off work earlier. The problem was that when he entered your apartment, you were nowhere to be found.
《Y/N?》 he asked
You weren't in the living room, nor in the kitchen, nor in the bathroom. Then he opened the door of the bedroom and went in. At first he didn't even see you, but then he heard a noise and turned around. You were couched on the ground, in the corner of the room, with your head hidden by your arms and long hair. Seeing you like that made his heart break. He walked to you and crouched in front of you.
《Y/N?》 he said, softly
You flinched hearing his voice. How could he be already here?
《Go away》 you said, with a hoarse voice
《No》 he replied
《Please》 you begged, crying
《I'm not going anywhere, and you can't change my mind》 he said, firmly 《You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. Just let me take care of you》
You didn't reply, so he took it as an "okay". He put an arm under your legs and the other behind you, and he picked you up, bringing you to the bed. He laid down next to you and hugged you close, petting your hair.
《I know you don't want me to see you like this》 he said 《I noticed that you tried to hide it》
You felt ashamed again.
《I didn't want to make you uncomfortable so I didn't say anything, but from now on I won't leave you alone again》 he said 《Crying and needing help doesn't make you weak. And just for the record, I want you to be happy, so if I can help you with your problems then I will do it no matter what》
《I don't deserve you》 you whispered, but he heard
《Don't say that. It's not true》 he said, sternly
《Why are you even with me, I'm only a burden》
He took your chin in his hand and made look up. He looked you deep in the eyes.
《I'm with you because I love you, and I'm willing to be by your side in every situation, bad or good that is》 he said, calmly 《I love you, so please stop hiding and lying about how you feel, and just let me help you》
You couldn't find it in you to reply.
《Promise me you will call me when you feel down or stressed》 he said 《Please promise me》
You slowly nodded and he kissed your forehead.
《I love you》 he said again
He knew you needed to hear it and he didn't mind telling you again.
《I love you too》 you finally replied
