You and Yeosang had been together for almost two years now. You were with him during his trainee days and you stayed with him through his debut. Now he was finally having success with his group and that also meant he was busier that before. Ateez had to go on a world tour not so long after the debut, and that also made your relationship harder. Since he was always so busy, he was really sensitive about the time you two could finally spend together.
You knew Ateez would soon have another concert abroad and your second anniversary was right in the middle of those dates. Since you couldn't be together to celebrate it, you thought about doing it earlier.
You wanted to surprise Yeosang and hopefully give him a gift that he could remind him of you wherever he went. You were out of ideas, so you asked Seonghwa for help. After all, Yeosang and Seonghwa were really close, and you knew Seonghwa was the only one, out of all the members, that could actually help you.
You tried not to look suspicious, but Yeosang noticed you were seeing each other less, and you were often cancelling your dates and go out with Seonghwa instead. That night was their last night in Korea, before going abroad for the concerts. You were supposed to meet Yeosang at a restaurant and give him his surprise. Right before going there you were with Seonghwa, preparing the last details, but things got out of hand and you didn't pay attention at the hour. When you noticed the time, you quickly got dressed for the occasion and took a taxi, but when you arrived you saw Yeosang walking out of the place. You got off and ran to him.
《Yeosang》 you yelled, and he stopped 《I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to be late, I just-》
《Were you with Seonghwa?》 he asked, cutting you off
《Yes, but I was just-》
《I don't care》 he replied 《Clearly, this relationship was a mistake》
《What?》 you asked, shocked and scared
《If you fell out of love with me you should have told me, instead of having fun with my friend》 he hissed
《It's not what you think, I swear》 you said, but he didn't want to listen
He turned around and started to walk away. You ran after him and tried to grab his arm to stop him, but he yanked your hand away.
《Don't touch me》 he said, as cold as ice
You took a step back. In those two years you'd never seen Yeosang so angry and hurt. You watched him walk away, sobbing quietly.
