Twelve Hours

You guys rode into Souix Falls right as the sun was rising. It's been almost a year since you were here. It was a good time then and it pulled at your heart. "Let's check into a motel and relax fornanfew hours" You told sam who looked super tired. Sam looked like he was about to protest but glanced at you. "Okay but only a few hours. Then we get to work." "Alright" you directed him to the nearest motel. Once you guys checked in and got the key to your room you guys pulled out the bags. Once you got into the room you automatically knew it was the same room you and dean at stayed in the year before. "Is everything okay?" Castiel asked setting bags down on the table. "Nothing," you said setting your bag down and pushing back one of the happiest memories you had. "Alright, Sam and will sleep for a couple hours. You hold the fort down." You pulled back the blackest to one of the beds and crawled into it and closed your eyes. You could hear Sam and Castiel talking about the plan to get the impala back and to have jody keep an eye open for Dean if he showed up. Their talking put you into a deep slumber and you didnt care that it did. Dean was there with that smile you always loved. He approached you and held out his hand "hey sweetheart," he pulled you into his arms and kissed your forehead and then your lips. "I've missed you," you tell him hugging him tighter. "Not as much as I missed you. I screwed up and I'm sorry. Do you forgive me?" You pulled back to see that dean was no longer there. You were standing in the middle of nowhere. "Dean!" You called out. Behind you, you heard the sound of a gun firing. You spun around and saw a dark figure standing over someone. "Hey!" You rushed over and before you got to the figure and its victim were gone. "YN!" You spun around and saw dean. This time he was battered and bruised. "Get out! Now!" You were confused. "What about you?" You called after him. "I can't loose you again!" Dean reached you and grabbed you by your arms. "And I can't loose you!" With that he pushed you over a cliff.

"YN! YN!" You were shaken awake by Sam. "Are you okay?" Once your vision was focused you saw the worried looks on both Castiels and Sam's face. You were breathing deeply and sweating and clutching the blanket like it could save your life. Sam helped you into a seating position whole Castiel got you water. "YN are you okay? You were mumbling and thrashing around and you yelled Dean's name." You looked at sam "I'm okay I was just having this awful dream. Dean was there and then not there and then there again. Then he threw me off a cliff." You drank the water and looked at Castiel. "Cas, do you think that has anything to do with this?" You asked him. "I dont think so. Maybe with dean missing you miss him." You nodded and got out of the bed. "I'm going to get ready?" You looked at the clock "we should meet Jody soon." "Are you sure?" Sam asked "it seems like this could be an issue. I mean Jody is going to show us the impala and if dean being gone does this to you're dreams what could seeing the impala do?" You stared Sam down "does it matter? You're not going to make me leave now. You dragged me into this." "No I didn't, you came along willingly." You laughed as you walked into the bathroom "you were the one who showed up at my motel room before the crack of dawn." You closed the door and got dressed in the fed suit you wore before. You did your hair in an updo and put on a little bit of make up to make you look the part. You looked yourself in the mirror and you barely recognized the person staring at you. It wasnt a bad thing, you just had gone so long without it you simply forgot how great you looked. "Let's do this." You walked out of the bathroom and saw that Sam stopped what he was doing and looked at you. "What?" You asked checking to see if a hair if you didnt mess anything up. "Nothing, I just forgot how good you looked. And I mean that in a non trying to steal my brothers ex way." You smirked "thanks." You guys gathered a few bags up and headed to the car.

You guys arrived at the station just as Jody arrived. It had been some time since you've seen her because once you got out of the car she pulled you into a hug. "Hey gorgeous!" She exclaimed. "Its so good to see you! The girls have asked about you." "Maybe as soon as we are done with this I can swing by and see them." Jody pulled back from you to hug Sam " the girls would love that! Especially Claire. Sam, how are you?" You guys stood in a circle and caught up. When Jody heard that you and Dean weren't together she said "I have half a mind to knock some sense into the boy. Doesnt he know how good he had it?" You smiled and said "if we get Dean out alive I'll bring him by so you can do just that." Jody laughed "I'm counting on it. Now, let's head on out the impond and get you the impala. I've already had the blood tested and it's not Dean's but two guys who have been missing for the past year." "That's good news," sam said grabbing the impala keys from Jody. "Cas, why dont you take YN car back to the bunker." Cas took the keys and headed out. "What was dean hunting?" "I dont know," sam said slowly. "Whatever it was it turned around and got him." Jody sighed "well just get him back alive. The world needs you Winchester's."

A couple hours later you guys arrive at the impond to see the impala sitting there. A few windows were broken but that was easily fixable for you or Sam. Tires would need to be changed. But everything else like the dents and scratches would need to wait until after this case. You walked up to it mindlessly and ran your hand over it. All the good and fun memories between you and Dean. The water fight you guys had when washing and fixing up the impala after your guys first hunt together without Sam. The lonely nights you two had in between hunts and he took out to see the stars. You took a deep breath and turned to see Sam watching you. The look in your eyes told Sam everything. You were still in love with Dean.
