Em woke up the next morning tangled in Aiden's arms. Aiden was sound asleep beside her. She laughed as she wiggled out of his arms. She stood over him and admired him for a moment. She was so in love with him. She bent down and placed a kiss on his forehead before walking toward the door.

"Sadie! Get out of the way!" Em heard Mark yell from the hallway. She opened the door slowly and shut it hoping she wouldn't wake Aiden up.

Mark was stuck in the middle of the staircase with a huge suitcase. Sadie laid at the bottom of the stairs as she completely ignored Mark.

"Em, can you give me a hand?" Mark asked as he looked back at his sister. She let out a laugh as she slid by Mark to move the huge dog out of the way.

"Come on, Sadie. Move it," Em said as she shook Sadie awake. Sadie jumped up and went over to where Lily laid on the couch.

"You're kidding me. Lily was down here the whole time and she couldn't get up to help?" Em asked annoyed as she stared at her little sister. She had her headphones in as she watched something on her phone. Mark put his suitcase by the door and sat on the other couch. Em rolled her eyes as she sat down next to him.

"Where did Lee and Sami go?" Em asked.

"Sami took Lee back to hers to get showered and stuff. She said they didn't want to bother you and AD," Mark said as he nudged her. Em rolled her eyes as she slapped him on the arm.

"Nothing happened!" Em shouted.

"That's not what Sami and Aiden told me," Mark said with a smirk as he crossed his arms across his chest.

"Oh my god," Em said as she put her head in her hands.

"Good morning, sunshine," Mark said. Em turned her head to see a very tired Aiden stumbling down the stairs. He plopped down on the floor in front of them.

"Shut up, Mark," Aiden said in his morning voice.

"Well, I have to go pack the truck. Jess should be here any minute," Mark said as he got up. He picked up his suitcase and winked at Em before going outside. Aiden quickly jumped up and plopped down next to her. She held her arms out as he crawled into her arms and laid his head on her chest.

"You doing okay?" Aiden asked.

"I'm fine," She said as she ran her fingers through his hair. He picked his head up and made eye contact with her.

"Pinky promise?" Aiden asked as he held his pinky out. Em laughed but held out hers and intertwined them. He smiled at her as he leaned in and kissed her. The two pulled away due to a gagging sound.

"Get a room," Lily said in disgust. She rolled her eyes and stomped up the stairs. They laughed once they heard her bedroom door slam.

"Aw, look how cute!" Jess said as her and Mark came inside.

"Look at the babies," Mark said as he pinched Aiden's cheek. Aiden groaned and slapped his hand away.

"Well, we came in to say bye before we left," Mark said. Em stood up and hugged her brother.

"I'm gonna miss you," Em whispered as they pulled apart. Mark smiled down at his younger sister.

"I'm gonna miss you, too. I'll see you Saturday," Mark said as he pulled her in for another hug. He shook hands with Aiden as Em hugged Jess goodbye. Em watched her brother get into the red truck. He waved before pulling out of the driveway.

"I don't know what I'm gonna do when Mark leaves for college," Em whispered as she stared out the front door at the driveway where her brother's truck just was. Aiden came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her.

"He won't be far. You'll always be able to visit," Aiden said. "Besides, you know how much your dad wanted this. He would be so proud of Mark."

"I know he would. Mark's living my dad's dream. I'm proud of him, too," Em said.

"Always remember that he is still here, he's just not in the next room. When Mark's busy out there in the big world, you always have me and everyone else," Aiden said. Em turned around and looked up at him with a huge smile. Even though Em had been through so much, she had the most amazing people by her side through it all. She stood on her tippy toes and pecked his lips.

"Thank you," Em said as they both leaned back in. Em's phone rung from her pocket and caused both of them to jump back. Em looked down, Sami was calling.

"Hey, Sami," Em said.

"We have a problem," Sami said quickly. Em's lovey-dovey and happy mood dropped once she heard her voice.

"What's wrong?" Em asked. Anxiety ran through her whole body. God knows what could be happening right now?

"I took Lee back to her house to get clothes and stuff because Mark said she could stay at yours for a couple days. Lee got a call from her mom on the way there and she was pissed. Someone wrote 'Stupid Lesbian' on the side of her house in red paint," Sami said. Em's heart dropped at her words.

"Which means whoever did that to her last night told people," Em said. Her anxiety went away and was quickly replaced with anger. Lee's parents knew about her sexuality but didn't approve of it at all. They told her to never tell anyone about it and they even set her up on a date with this random dude. Lee hated her parents for making her hide her true self, Lee and her friends saw nothing wrong.

"Yeah, it's a mess. I don't know what's going on but I hear screaming. I'm outside in my car waiting for her. You still with Aiden?" She asked. She turned to look at Aiden who looked down at her confused.

"Can we go to Lee's?" Em asked.

"Yeah, of course. Is everything okay?" He asked as he put his shoes on quickly.

"You'll see once we get there," She said as she struggled to put her shoes on. "We're on our way."
