Agent Cooper and Sheriff Davis immediately rushed out after hearing his words, leaving Aiden and Em with Matthew. They went on a search for Adam and Ashley, and this time they weren't looking for a body.

Em felt weird as she stared at the man who ruined her life. He took her father away from her, ruined her friend, and almost killed her best friend.

It was silent for a while before Emercyn spoke up.

"Why did you kill him?" She asked quietly.

"He killed my wife," He answered.

"No," Em began. "You killed her and you were so guilty that you needed someone to blame."

He fell quiet for a moment before he started screaming at her.

"I didn't kill him!" He yelled as he fell out of his chair and onto the floor. He started sobbing loudly as Aiden and Em stood up and got away from the table.

"I know how hard it is," She said, grabbing his attention. "Mental illness is hard but that doesn't mean you had to do what you did."

His crying stopped and his smile returned. He started laughing uncontrollably as he rolled around on the floor.

"Purely crazy," Aiden muttered to himself as he stepped in front of Em.

"Crazy, huh?" He asked himself. "Purely crazy."

Emercyn crossed her arms across her chest as she glared at the laughing man. His laughter died down as he stood back up.

"You're not as tough as you make yourself out to be, Emercyn," He said. "I've seen you at your lowest points, even at your highest points you are still that weak little mentally ill daddy's girl."

"You have no right to call me weak," She spat back. "You're a coward who relies on teenagers to do your dirty work. A coward who kills for fun and then kills again because he can't take the guilt."

He smiled as he inched closer, "There she is, that's my girl."

He went to touch her cheek but she slapped it away before Aide even reacted to it. The action reminded her of the night he was in her house, the night she'll always remember.

"Your poor wife," Em began as she watched him tense up. "An innocent woman who was tortured and manipulated by the person who was supposed to love her no matter what."

She moved Aiden's arm from in front of her and moved closer to the man. She was so much shorter than him but her confidence made her look as if she was towering over him.

"Those pictures," She said as she shook her head. "You're going to hell for the amount of blood and guilt that are on your hands."

She moved over just in time. She knew he was going to start screaming, she knew he was going t try and hurt her. She barely knew this man but could predict his every move.

He went running straight into the wall fast first. The handcuffs prevented him from stopping himself. He fell to the floor again, sobbing.

"I had to kill him," He began. "I couldn't help the need. I needed to kill him."

Em felt her heart drop and she couldn't breathe. All of this time she knew he was the one, she always knew. But to hear him say the words out loud was something she never thought she would hear. All the sadness that she felt left as anger took over. A wave of uncontrollable anger hit her, something that she seemed to feel a lot lately.

"Burn in hell," She said as she kicked him as hard as her little legs could. She turned around, not looking back once. She never wanted to see Matthew Crawford again.

Emercyn and Aiden walked into the Rose residence hand in hand. Agent Cooper thought it would be best if they stayed home for a while while they searched for Lee and Adam.

"Emercyn! Is that you?" Mrs. Rose yelled out.

"Mom?" Em shouted back confused. It wasn't normal for her mom to not be at work at this time. She came running out from the kitchen with her arms outstretched. She threw her arms around her and hugged her for a while.

"Is everything okay?" Em asked as her mom kept a grip on her.

"I'm so happy you kids are okay," Her mom said as she let go of and threw her arms around Aiden. Em looked at her mom confused, she thought Agent Cooper was going to keep this a secret. She didn't want her mom to worry.

"Why didn't you tell me?" She asked horrified.

"I didn't want you to worry. We had it under control," Em said as she looked over at Aiden. "Who told you?"

"I did," Lily spoke up from behind her mother. She had tears in her eyes and she looked so afraid. She ran over and threw her arms around her older sister. Something that hasn't happened in a very long time

"I'm sorry but I was scared," Lily said as she sobbed into Em's shoulder. "I saw him one night and when you told me not to come home because of him, I have never been more scared."

"Don't be sorry," Em whispered as she hugged her back. "You did the right thing. I should have told mom. I was scared, too."

"Are you okay?" Lily asked as she stepped back and whipped her eyes with the sleeves of her hoodie.

"I'm fine now," Emercyn said with a smile. It was nice for her to get along with Lily. It felt like it had been forever since they even had a normal conversation.

"I talked to Sheriff Davis and he told me everything about what had happened," Her mother said as she looked down at the floor. "About Lee and your father."

"Lee is alive," Em said. Her mom and sister looked up at her with wide eyes. "Well, they think she is."

"But how?" Lily asked shocked.

"That's how they found Matthew," Em explained. "He was trying to get Sami into a car because Adam accidentally told her that he never killed Lee."

"Adam?" Her mom asked.

"Yeah, he was apart of Matthew's plan," Aiden spoke up. "Adam was upset that Em didn't love him back so he wanted to scare her but ended up putting us all in danger."

"That's crazy," Her mom said. "Adam was such a good kid. I never thought he would get in any type of serious trouble."

"You staying for lunch?" Mrs. Rose asked Aiden as she made her way back to the kitchen.

"Yeah, thank you!" Aiden yelled back.

"Mom was talking about moving," Lily whispered to the two of them.

"Really?" Em asked. She wasn't shocked by the news, she always knew her mom wanted to get out. There were too many dark memories from that house.

"Yeah, but she said if we do we wouldn't move far. We would still be in the neighbor," Lily smiled. "Em might just die if she can't be with Aiden."

Em smiled as she rolled her eyes, "Oh, shut up!"

The three of them laughed. It was nice for Em and Lily to get along. They really needed each other during that time.

"It's ready!" Mrs. Rose yelled from the kitchen.

"Last one to the kitchen sucks ass!" Lily said as she bolted towards the kitchen.

"Lily!" Aiden and Em shouted but soon started to laugh hysterically.

"She's something else," Em whispered as the two of them entered the kitchen.
