It was the next morning and Em was still shaken up about last night's events. She was lucky that she told Aiden to come. God knows what he could have done to her. Agent Cooper and a couple of police officers came within five minutes of her calling them. She somehow convinced Agent Cooper and his friends to not tell her mom yet and Agent Cooper convinced her to stay the night at Aiden's, even though it didn't take much convincing.

She was terrified but in a way relieved. This was the biggest piece of evidence, he was in her house. This gave everything away and he was basically caught at this point. Now the only thing left to do is to find him. And find Adam.

Sami had told Aiden last night that Adam has not returned home. It was normal for him to stay out all day and to come home late but it wasn't normal for him to not come home for three days. Sami said he didn't take anything with him. He just left one morning and hasn't come back.

"I just got off the phone with Agent Cooper," Aiden said as he walked back into his bedroom. "He said they found some cabin in the woods while looking for both of them. It's been abandoned for years but he said there has been someone living inside. They think it could be Matthew."

She sat there and remained in silence. Aiden sighed as he took a seat next to her.

"I wonder where Adam went," Em thought out loud. She felt Aiden tense up next to her. "I don't mean that to piss you off but it's weird. I'm so confused about everything that's been happening."

"I know you're not," He said with a laugh but she could tell he was silently pissed."I'm worried about him but he just pissed me off that day."

"I know," She sighed. "I have an idea."

"Oh, god. What?" Aiden asked with a laugh.

"I think the best way to find Adam is to use me," She said. Aiden looked at her confused, humor no longer danced around his big brown eyes. He was completely serious now.

"What's that mean?" Aiden asked. Em stood up with a smile as she began to present her brilliant plan.

"We could tell Adam something happened and I'm really sad. If I were to call him and pretend somethings wrong, I know he would come to me. It's the best way to get him to come home and we can also ask him to tell us everything he knows about Matthew," She said.

"I don't trust him," Aiden said with no emotion. Em sighed and sat back down next to him.

"Why don't you come with me but you'll have to stay hidden, He won't tell me anything if he sees you with me," Em said. He sat there and stared at her in disbelief. She shook her head and pouted at him.

"Fine," He said as he rolled his eyes. "But I watch both of you the entire time. I don't trust him around you at all."

"How cute," Em said jokingly as she pinched his cheek.

She scrolled through the phone until she found his contact name. She hasn't called or talked to him in what felt like forever. It felt so weird to press on his contact name. She sucked in a huge breath as she held the phone up to her ear.

"Hello?" His voice was groggy like he had just woken up despite the fact it was already after two.

"Hey, Adam," Em said in her best sad voice. Aiden nearly burst out into laughter as he watched her speak. She waved him off as she tried to conceal her own laughter.

"Are you okay?" He asked more alert and more awake.

"I've just been sad recently. I was thinking about my dad," She said with a loud sigh. "Do you think you could meet up?"
