Chapter 13

Previously on Mr. Malik.....

"Shit!" A figure got out of the driver's seat, running over to where Zayn had fallen in the ground.

It was a girl with dark hair and green eyes. Or so Zayn thought.

"Oh my god!"

Zayn could barely keep his eyes open, he could make out her silhouette in the dim light but he was way drunk beyond his senses.

"Oh my god, I'm sorry I didn't mean to hit you..omg! Are you okay?"

The girl frantically kneeled down to him and held his arm.

"Mia..?"

The girl looked at him in confusion.

"Uhh..my name's Alina...but why are you calling out her name?"

Zayn didn't know what to answer so he just stared at her. The girl blushed.

"Well, let me at least drop you off somewhere..you seem really..um..drunk."

Alina helped him into her car, closing the door on the passenger side. She started the engine, and took off.

While she drived, she debated where to take him. The safest place would be home, she thought.

A good 15 minutes later, she parked outside and helped Zayn out of the car. Holding him by the waist, she supported him, while struggling to walk herself.

Opening the front door, she turned on the lights. Zayn blinked furiously at the sudden light. He let out a groan.

"It's okay. You can stay here for the night."

Alina took off his jacket and placed it in the shoe cupboard. She then took him upstairs into the guest room and laid him on the bed. Taking his shoes off, she covered him with a blanket. Switching off the lights, she went downstairs.

No one was home, she observed.

Maybe they all went out, she thought. Sighing, she poured herself a drink and took a seat on the sofa.

It's gonna be a long night, she thought.

Hey guys!!! I truly apologize for the longgggg wait but I recently moved to a different country and it was CRAYYYYYYYYYYYY!! Its awesome here!!! But with everything going on and a new school and senior year..its been a lot to handle. I'm sorry to make you guys waittttttt..but hehe Imma be back now. :D

Also, a few updates...during this "break" I've gained a LOT of readers. First of all, I am SO GLAD you have decided to read my book!!!! ILY allll!!! Secondly, a couple of you wanted me to update so here it is..:D It's short but I will update again as soon as possible.
