Maddie x Jason

(Sebastian's Pov!)

We're in quite the predicament. I accidentally left my lab unlocked and the enemy Group C.A.K.E got into it.

We were put into Mackenzies mind and the only way to escape was to help her overcome her past experiences that still torment her today.

C.A.K.E believes that's impossible because of Mackenzies horrible backstory. That means we are gonna be stuck in here forever.

"Soo MacKenzie give us a tour." Maddie said looking around seeing memories everywhere. "Uhh I'll show you to my childhood." MacKenzie said starting with her being 7.

"This is when I lost my dad." She said as we walk watched the memory.

Memory- Age 7.

MacKenzie walked out of the store with her father getting caught by a cop. Her father was a wanted criminal and he was wanted dead or alive.

They both started running but because of Mackenzies young age she was slowing her father down. They turned into an alleyway getting cornered.

Mackenzies dad turned his head getting shot by the policeman. MacKenzie stared in shock as her father fell to the ground. She landed on her knees grasping at him arm shaking him.

"Dad?"

No response. She heard nothing but the quiet sounds of the policeman's shoes hitting the ground as he approached her.

"Easy little girl." He spoke as MacKenzie cried.

Memory end-

"Okay... How can we help her get over that!" Jason said looking traumatized by the whole thing.

"Let's keep moving. We can think about it as we go down memory lane." Maddie said as she skipped down to the next memory.

"She's strangely happy for just seeing a man get killed." I muttered as Mackenzie looked completely blank. I suppose looking emotionless is what she does best.

We approached another memory of when she was 11. "Oh no..." Maddie muttered sadly noticing what this was.

Memory- Age 11.

"I'm so glad you finally decided to speak." Jay spoke over the game.

"I was shy! I finally got enough courage..." MacKenzie muttered a blush on her face as she spoke over mic.

They were playing Minecraft. "Now that we are voice to voice... I think I should tell you that I've been with someone else." He spoke as Mackenzies blush faded.

"You disappear for a whole year without texting me once and now that your back your telling me this?!?" MacKenzie shouted making jay sigh.

"You blocked me on Christmas for no reason. You left and you didn't even tell me why! You asked me out! If you didn't want a relationship you shouldn't have asked!" MacKenzie said in the verge of tears.

"You never seemed like you liked me that way." He said.

"If I didn't like you I wouldn't have said yes!" She said looking sadly at her hands. She allowed the controller to lay on her bed as she tried to keep it together.

"I'm going to get off." He said and left the party. MacKenzie sat there remembering all the good times.

Memory end-

"I've gotten past that." MacKenzie said and began walking away. "Are you sure?" Maddie asked as Jason held Maddie's hand.

"Yes!" MacKenzie said and began walking faster towards the next memory. "It doesn't seem like it..." Maddie said trying to keep up with MacKenzie.
