1.26 Brother-Sister-Bond

Outside.

Bae and Henry were in front of us, spending some long overdue father-son moments together. Emma, Gold and i were following them.

Then they walked into a pizza restaurant.

The three of us stayed outside.

Emma "do you think that we should-"

Gold "if we were welcome, i feel confident an invitation would've been extended. It's a sad truth that the people closest to us are the ones capable of causing us the most pain. That's out common ground, Miss Swan"

Emma "Guess my lying to him just caught up with me"

Me "Give him time, he'll forgive you"

Emma "is that you projecting your own hopes?"

Gold shook his head "my son and i have some way to go"

I nodded.

Gold looked at me "i need you to speak to him"

I shot him a look.

Gold "try and convince him to come back to Storybrooke with us"

I shook my head "I don't owe you any favors anymore. "

Gold shook his head "this isn't about me anymore. You'll do it for Henry. and i know you can. "

I looked down. 

Gold "i saw you and him earlier. The way you talked to each other-acted around each other, you seemed to grow a bond together that compares to the one that siblings have"

I nodded. 

Gold "So, please, talk to him"

I nodded and looked at him  "i'll think about it"

Suddenly Neal and Henry walked out .

They were eating pizza. 

Neal handed me a slice and i smiled .

Me "Thanks"

He smiled. 

I took a bite from it. It tastes amazing .

Henry smiled "Emma, Neal wanted to show me the museum. do you think we can go back to the apartment and get my camera?"

Emma looked at Neal.

Neal "yeah, well, Kids like culture, right?"

Emma "Sure. Yeah, that's fine. You like the New York pizza?"

Henry nodded "Yeah, it's delicious, cheesy and doesn't lie"

I nearly chocked on the pizza. 

Emma's smile dropped.

...

We were n the way back to the apartment.

Bae "i can't believe you knew this whole time that i had a son"

I nodded "i did. Why did you think i stayed closed to him?"

He shrugged "Don't know, maybe because he was your great -nephew"

I shrugged, nodding "or that"

Me "you know, maybe you should come with us. Henry would love to spend more time with his father"

Bae "to Storybooke?"

I nodded "yeah"

Bae sighed  "it's complicated"

suddenly Henry walked to us "so, Neal, do you think we can take the subway?"

Neal nodded "Yeah. Sire, of course. Let's go get that camera"
