Rose's House

KARA'S POV

NOVEMBER 8TH, 2038

05:10:07 PM

I rung the doorbell of the house. No one answered. So I went around the house. I found somebody using an axe to chop up wood.

"Hello?" I said to them. "I'm looking for Rose..." "Is she here?"

"What do you want with her?" He asks.

"I need to talk to her." I say.

"She doesn't wanna talk. Go away." He said. "Please, I really need to see her."

A woman then came out of a greenhouse behind the boy. "I'm Rose." She said. "What can I do for you?"

"I was told you could help us." I said. "Help you?" Rose questions. L

I then lift up my hand and make the skin turn white to show her that I'm an android. Luther then came around holding the girls. "Come on." Rose says. "It's better of we talk inside."

Luther put the girls down. "Do you think we can trust 'em?" Luther asks. "We don't have a choice..." I respond with as I walked up to the door. I opened it and walked in with Luther and the girls.

"Come in!" Rose says. Luther closed the door. "What're your names?" Rose asks the girls.

"Alice." Alice said. "Tamara." Tamara said.

Rose puts the back of her hand on their foreheads. "Tamara's fine while Alice here is running a fever." Rose says.

"We spent the last few nights outside... They're exhausted." I explain.

"There's a spare room upstairs. You can put them to bed and I'll bring them something to eat." Rose said. "Adam, will you show them upstairs?"

Rose walks away. Adam turns around and heads for the stairs. We follow Adam up the stairs. We went up to a white door in front of us and opened it. We walk into the room. There was a bed big enough for both of the girls to sleep in. Alice and Tamara sit on the bed.

I kneel down and remove their shoes. They get up. I remove their coats. They get back up on the bed and lay down next to each other as I took of my coat. I walk back over to the girls. I take the blanket and cover them with it. I sit down next to them.

"We're fine, Kara. We can't stop because of us." Alice says. "We've got to get across the border..."

"You and Tamara need rest." I said. "Get a good night's sleep and we'll set off again tomorrow."

"Why do humans hate androids?" Alice asks. "They didn't do anything wrong..."

"Maybe it's a misunderstanding... Maybe they just need time to umderstand what we really are..." I said.

"Why can't you just talk to each other?" Alice asked. "They'd see you're not bad..."

"Maybe one day we will..." I say before Rose walks in. "I don't know what you girls like but I made you two Rose's world famous spaghetti." Rose said setting the two bowls of spaghetti down. "You'll be back on your feet in no time." "There's something for her fever."

"Thank you." I said. She went over to the girl's coats. She picked them up. "I'll get these washed and dried." Rose said before walking out of the room.

"Sleep tight, girls." I said before I kissed their foreheads.

"I'll be downstairs if you two need anything." I said. I got up and went over to the curtains. "Get some sleep... And tomorrow, yu two will be stronger than me!" Luther said as I closed the curtains.
