I thought we needed Solangelo just being cute in the morning in their sunny apartment and just cuddling a bunch because  let's be real, if you're reading this you are not mentally well and gay ships = therapy

In this AU, Will and Nico have just graduated and share an apartment.

Will's POV

The morning sun seeped in through the curtains, casting a soft golden glow across everything in the room. I rolled over in bed, reaching for Nico, but I only found empty blankets. Only then did I notice the smell of bacon and the sound of silverware clattering in the kitchen.

Stretching, I rolled out of bed, not bothering to get dressed. I was comfy in my t-shirt and sweatpants. After all, it was Saturday. When I got to the kitchen, Nico stood at the counter, stirring pancake batter in a glass mixing bowl. He heard me coming and set down his knife. Yeah, you heard me right.

I hugged him from behind, sliding my arms underneath his and resting my chin on his shoulder. I was prepared to pick him up and abduct him if he tried to slip away. Instead he just leaned back into my arms. I squeezed him tighter, giving him a soft peck on the forehead. Nico turned, wrapped his arms around my waist and laid his head on my shoulder.

As much as I loved Nico's hugs, I was hungry. "I'm going to teach you how to cook." I grabbed the knife from the counter and waved it around in his face. "Lesson one," I said, "You don't stir pancake batter with a knife." He gave me a guilty smile.

We spent the next 15 minutes making pancakes, and once they were done we sat at the table and ate together, talking about anything and everything. The bacon was left abandoned in the kitchen. Neither of us wanted to leave the other to go retrieve it. Besides, Nico had been cooking it in the toaster, so it probably wouldn't have tasted like bacon. Instead we sat at the table, still talking long after we both finished breakfast.

By the time we got bored it was 10:30 a.m, so Nico suggested we watch TV in the living room. I sat down on the couch and turned on the TV while Nico grabbed a blanket from the hallway closet. I breathed in deep, closing my eyes and appreciating the feeling of

Dust particles swirled through the air, visible because of the morning sun shining through the blinds. Our little orange kitten, Taz, was slinking around the couch, about to pounce on me.

I reached down to pet the kitten, and he nuzzled into my hand. He also tried to bite me, but that's not important. He sauntered over to the warm spot where the sun shone on the carpet, rolling onto his back and stretching his legs, purring softly. A second later, Nico finally came back with the blanket. I groaned. "What took you so long?"

He giggled again. It was a little out of character for him, but I was falling in love with that giggle. "I was playing with Taz, but he ran away," he said. He sat down beside me, throwing his legs over mine and covering us with a blanket. He grabbed two ps4 controllers and handed me one. When I looked at him in confusion, he smirked. "I changed my mind. We're playing Minecraft."

lol I know that ending wasn't super impactful but I was just going for cute this chapter :) I hope you enjoyed it! thanks for reading <3
