I was going to make a part two to the flowers AU, but this is gonna be SO MUCH BETTER!! I'm really excited, I have a great prompt.

Will's POV

As fate would have it, it rained on our wedding day. Nico and I stood at the altar, sharing giddy smiles. We both loved the rain, and the pavilion-style chapel was cozy and elegant. The ceiling above us rose up into a spiral. Most of it was made of glass, so we could see the pattering rain.

To my right I could see the nearby lake, and to my left was acres of lush, green forest. I looked out at all of our guests, our best friends, our family. They all watched with tears in their eyes. Percy and Annabeth beamed proudly in the front row, cradling their 4-month-old daughter, Zoe.

Behind them sat Hazel and Frank with their son, Sammy. Beside them was Piper and Jason, (screw the burning maze) Leo and Calypso, and Clarisse and Chris. Chiron sat teary-eyed in the front row next to Apollo, Hades, and... ugh, Aphrodite.

She insisted on attending because she claimed to have been the "Queen Solangelo shipper" from the start. I wasn't going to let her ruin this day for me, though. There were also a lot of people I didn't recognize. Greek and Roman bloodlines and relations are hella confusing. I looked at Nico, and immediately got lost in his watery eyes. I admit, I was crying as well. I was soon to be married to the love of my life.

Nico's POV

I'm not one for the sappy, bittersweet moments and overly sentimental cliche's, but... Damn. Our wedding was gorgeous. The rain made everything perfect. All of my friends and my Dad watched proudly as I gazed into Will's eyes. I was barely listening to the priests words. I could faintly hear Hazel's sniffles, and Percy's overdramatic bawling, but I didn't mind. I didn't mind Hazel, that is. I thought Percy had sprung a leak.

The spiraling chapel took my breath away every time I looked up. After the wedding, the plan was to canoe down the lake for a small reception with close friends. Only people from CHB and Camp Jupiter, plus however many gods might wanna come. Pulling myself back to the present, I realized that Will was about to read his vows. We'd both written them ourselves. He pulled out a piece of stationery and began to read aloud.

"Nico DiAngelo. My best friend, my closest confidante, and soon, my husband. You have brought the best out of me, and I love you for that. I promise, as long as I live—"

I suddenly felt a gentle nudge on my leg, jumping a little and crying out. Everyone quickly became dead silent. I turned around, worried that something was about to ruin our wedding. But there, cowering behind me, a quivering golden retriever puppy stood guiltily, pawing at my leg, begging for a little attention. She was dripping wet, the poor thing had probably been stuck in the rain.

I studied her red collar. Attached to it was a scrap of paper that read "can't feed her." Aww. The previous owners must've been unable to afford having a dog. I scooped her up into my arms, and she nuzzled into the crook of my arm, shivering with cold. The guests all went, "Awweee," and Will smiled.

We finished the ceremony with the puppy in my arms. Nobody thought twice about it. It just seemed right. This puppy belonged with us. When we finally put on the rings and kissed, the golden retriever threw back her head and howled with the applauding guests. It was so cute. Then we had cake, danced for a while, regular wedding stuff.

The puppy was dancing, too, in her own way. She weaved in and out of couples' feet, making people laugh and coo everywhere she went. But she never left the chapel, for some reason. Maybe it was just the rain. Or maybe she wanted to stay with me and Will. Anyway, she was very friendly. As people started to say congratulations and began head home, she would walk everyone to the steps and bark a goodbye.

Soon enough, everyone who wasn't canoeing to the reception was gone, and we were all ready to get out on the lake. The puppy rode in the canoe with Will and I. She seemed to know exactly what she was doing. She sat perfectly still, looking out over the water like a queen over her kingdom. It was adorable.

As we paddled down to the reception cabin, I said, "Will, we're keeping her, and you can't change my mind." He laughed, replying, "I wouldn't dare try. What should we name her?" I thought for a minute. "How about... Rain?" I suggested.
Will smiled. "Perfect."

And that's all folks! I know it was a little short, but I hope you enjoyed this chapter, because I had a lot of fun writing it. Please comment if you have any other prompts you'd like me to write for you.
