---Montell used the palm of his hand to wipe his face as he continued writing in his notebook. After his trip to go see Katana, he couldn't even describe himself as heartbroken. He had no idea what came after heartbreak, but whatever it was, that's what he viewed himself as. He viewed the whole ordeal as Katana thinking he didn't take his craft seriously. He obviously took it serious enough for him to get inspired by the situation and write a song- something he had failed to do since the breakup.
The words Undying Love stood out on the top of the page as Montell scribbled more words onto the thin lines below the title.
"I thought you loved me. I thought you cared for me. I thought you needed me. Did you believe in me?" He sang the lyrics as he wrote them, even deciding to add a little singing part since Katana seemed to love singing niggas so much.
Montell used the song as an outlet for his feelings. Feelings he had zero people to tell about... including who he considered the love of his life.
Thoughts and lyrics continued to jump at him as the words in red ink stained the page in his notebook. In the first verse, he made up a story. In the chorus, he talked about his feelings. The second verse...
The verse started as a story; a follow-up from what he started in the first verse. But, as the wheels in his head turned like they had a mountain of work to do and more words showed up on the paper, the made up story eventually revealed the thoughts of what Montell wished he could do.
He nodded his head with the same evil smirk from earlier in the day finding its way on his face again. In the end, the leading lady and the guy she cheated with died while the narrator ended up killing himself. Considering the build up from the beginning up to that point, the final lines of the lines shouldn't have come as a shocker.
The song didn't sound bad. Matter of fact, if you asked Montell, it might be one of his favorites. However, he had reached a point where even someone who wasn't a psychologist could see that something was off with him. The fact that he rolled a blunt with other drugs sprinkled in did nothing but add fuel to the fire. He grabbed his lighter from his pocket and placed the blunt in his mouth, lighting the end and tossing the lighter on his nightstand. He lit a took a drag from the blunt before placing it in a nearby ashtray, picking up the gun that laid near it, and making his way to the bathroom. The gun made a loud click sound as Montell cocked it and aimed at the mirror. He smirked once again as he stared at himself in the mirror.
"Surprise motherfuckers." He let loud a maniacal laugh that could possibly scare even the most notorious villain. He walked out of the bathroom. Montell grabbed his blunt from the ashtray and headed out of his room towards the front door.
"I'ma show they asses what crazy is." Montell mumbled as he walked down the halls of his apartment building while finishing his blunt. There was a lot he needed to do before he made his final decision.
