Katana laid in her bed staring at the red numbers on her alarm clock. She couldn't sleep and was way too comfortable to get out of her warm bed. She heard footsteps coming towards her room but ignored them because she thought it was Zion finally coming to bed.

When the room door opened, Katana closed her eyes and played sleep. The footsteps got closer and she waited to feel a dip in the other side of the bed, but it never came. She slowly opened her eyes and her heart sped up at the sight of Montell standing over her smirking.

"You look pretty. Did you miss me?" Montell whispered as he picked up a picture of Zion and Katana that was on the nightstand. It looked like they took it at a fair. The Ferris wheel and a funnel cake stand could be seen in the background with Zion and Katana smiling while holding a stuffed dog. "Our picture used to be right here..."

Katana couldn't speak. Too many thoughts bounced around in her mind and none of them allowed her to form a single sentence. How did he get into her apartment? Why is he here? Zion! Where is Zion?

The only light in the room came from the blinds that didn't close well enough to shut out the moonlight. She couldn't see the smeared blood on her ex's forehead and maybe it was a good thing she didn't. The sight would probably give her a heart attack.

"Answer me, damn it!" Montell yelled as he threw the picture face down onto the nightstand. The glass shattered sending small shards of glass flying while the larger pieces remained on the picture, broken but still there. Whenever the frame got lifted, the pieces would slide right off.

Katana jumped out of her thoughts and looked at the madman standing in front of her. She sat up in bed trembling in fear as Montell stood near her with that same evil ass smirk he's been using for days now.

"What do you want?" Her question came out in a low voice that was barely above a whisper but Montell heard her clearly. If anything, her voice sounded louder to him.

He stepped closer to a frozen Katana and gripped her face with both of his hands. The moonlight shined perfectly on her face allowing him to see the fear in her eyes. If that wasn't enough, she sat in her bed trembling like she was in twenty-degree weather with a bikini on.

"I want the love of my life back. I want us to be together... forever."

"Where's Zion?" Katana asked with tears welling up in her eyes. She couldn't help but start thinking the worse. The most brutal scenarios popped into her head but none of them could match what really went down in her living room.

"He's in the living room. He's... he's chilling. We came to an understanding. He's a cool person. Real cool." Montell smirked and moved his hands to Katana's hair. "I like your hair. It looks... different. What did you do? Dye it?" He asked, making sure to emphasize the word dye, using it as a double entendre even though the words differed in spelling. He wouldn't kill her... unless he had to. As of right now, he just wanted to give her a hint at Zion's fate and scare her a little.

Montell removed his hands from Katana's hair and walked to her closet. He pulled some of her clothes off of hangers and threw them into a duffel bag on the floor.

"What are you doing?" Katana asked, barely audible as she wiped away the tears that fell. She wanted to move from her spot but it was like she had suddenly become paralyzed. She wanted to run out of the room, but the thought of going near Montell or having him touch her kept her from moving. That and the unknown of what she would see in the living room kept her frozen in fear.
