Look Alive, Sunshine(a MCR fanfic)

Initiation part 1

Me, Kat, and Gee helped as much as we could with helping move the bodies, but I almost threw up twice and Kat actually did, so we just watched. Gee was still helping however, while talking to Party Poison and Jet Star. It was kinda funny how even now she totally fit in.

"Hey, you guys ok?" asked Flaming. Kat and I nodded, but she didn't look convinced.

"I know how it feels, we've all been there. But you get used to it after awhile." she said with a sad smile. As she walked away, a terrible thought hit me. Had I led my friends away from actual safety to a place of pain and practical slaughter? Looking around, I sadly realized that was the case. An overwhelming feeling to scream and cry hit me, but being me I pushed the feelings down and glanced at Kat. The silent tears running down her face hurt me more then I thought they ever could. She had cried more in two days then I'd ever seen before. I'd been the one to put her through pain. Then I glanced at Gee. She was easily manuvering the bodies, and I saw her mouth, 'I could use a hearse right about now' to Jet Star who smiled. Gee was built for this. She was super tough. But Kat was still crying.

"I'm so sorry Atomic." I said, using her new name. She looked at me and saw the pain in my eyes.

"I"m ok Neon, I promise. It's just, I never thought I'd see anything like this. And almost getting kidnapped didn't help with my emotional levels." she said with a slight laugh/ hiccup thing. I pulled her into a hug and we held each other tight.

"Group hug!" yelled Gee, who came running at us. We all laughed when she almost knocked us over, making all of us feel tons better.

"So, I think I'm gonna be the new Mortician! My dream job!" she said with the biggest smile ever. Maybe she was so in shock of it all, she was able to act like herself.....

"Great!" said Kat, who hugged her again. I just smiled and shook my head slightly. This was going to be interesting.

"Hey! Guys, come here!" yelled Party Poison. Everyone walked back to the spot the guys had been singing, the ground cleared of bodies by now.

"So, we have a few new guys and even though we've seen some pretty good stuff from them, they still need to go through initiation. Cyanid Decay, Neon Bullets, and Atomic Revolution, please come here." he said. The girls and I walked to him and the other three guys, trying to not feel too self-conscience. But it was really hard with hundreds of eyes all trying to see you. When we got to them, Fun Ghoul gave Kat a quick smile. Lucky ass.

"Ok guys. so, your gonna have to do a kind of obstical course. WIth a lie detector and stuff, okay?" asked Gee.

"Let's do this!" shouted Gee, making the crowd cheer a little. I just smiled and nodded my head. Kat looked ready for anything and nodded once. Whoa. She was scary when she was super serious.

"Alright, come on." he said. He grabbed Gee's hand and directed her (with me and Kat following) behind the rocky mountian thingys. During that, Gee turned her head and made the funniest face EVER to me and Kat! We were trying so hard not too laugh as we felt this was really serious, but that only made it funnier. We finally got to a little van that was packed with wires and little sound thingys. There were also a few antennas connected to the top.

"So, the first part is the lie detector. You first." he said, lightly nudging Gee. She mouthed at us with another funny face 'Pedo van!' and then got in, making me actually laugh, which caused Kat to laugh, and then we heard Gee hysterically laughing from inside the van, so we all laughed harder. Kobra Kid was trying to keep his poker face, but Jet star was chuckling and Fun Ghoul was shaking his head, so we knew we sounded like retards. Party Poison however was laughing almost as hysterically as us, which was so funny that I hit the ground, my sides hurting terribly. Finally, we all stopped and then I realized how stupid we looked now. I just smiled and stood up, waiting for Gee. After about 15 minutes she came out and then it was Kats turn. She walked in without looking back, and when the door closed, I turned to Gee.

"So, is it terrible?" I asked

"Nah, it's really easy. The funniest thing though was that I kept distracting the poor guy in there, that's why it took so long." she said with a huge grin on her face. I gave her a side-ways hug and then let go when Kobra Kid looked at me. Then the van door opened and Kat came out. If she was done that fast, Gee must have been terrible to the guy in the van. I walked towards the van and felt kinda sick. There weren't any windows. Gee had been right about the pedo van part. There was a guy in a wheel chair, with long black hair and a bandana in it.

"Come sit down, and lets get this over with." he said, gesturing to a lone chair next to a little table with a little lie detector on it. Or so I pressumed. I sat down and he expertly started to put little cable thingys on my forehead, forearm, and over my heart. I tried to relaxe and take deep breaths.

"Good, your doing good. Now I'm going to give you yes or no questions, okay?" he asked, looking at the meter thingy.

"Yup." I replied.

"Okay. Were you frightened today?" he asked.

"Yes."

"Good. Do you love your friends out there?"

"Yes."

"Do you think Party Poison is sexy?"

"What?" I asked, confused.

"Just answer the question." he said.

"Um.....yes." I said.

"How about Fun Ghoul?"

"Yeah." I said.

"And the other two, Kobra Kid and Jet Star?"

"Yup." I replied.

"Alrightly, you're all done." he said. He pulled all the little wires off and opened the door.
