We pulled up to Jayce's house. I told Montrece to stay in the car with Aden and if I wasnt out within ten minutes, he should come in. I got out the car and went into the house. As soon as i opened the door i could sense something was strange. There was no sign of Jayce there so i went to my room and gathered my things then went to Aden's room and got his stuff.
While I was walking out I could hear a noise coming from the kitchen I wanted to see what it was but my better instincts told me to leave. I went outside and Montrece helped me put the stuff in the car. After putting the stuff up I heard the door of the house open and saw Jaycce walking out. he began shouting. "You're gonna wish you never betrayed me. I had you when nobody wanted you.I'm the best thing thats ever happenned to you." I ignored him but Montrece began walking towards Jayce. I tried to stop him but I could'nt. Before I knew it Montrece had punched Jayce and had him on thee ground. I pulled him to get him off of Jayce and he got up. We got in the car and sped off.
Once we were at Montrece's house I put our things up. I couldnt believe how nice his place was. He lived right outside of Downtown. You could see the Dallas skyline perfectly from his livivng room window. He had a three bedroom two ath apartment. The furniture was nie. You wouldnt expect an eighteen year old to live here. After scoping out the place I took a seat on the black leather couch where Montrece was sitting. He pulled me closer to him and held me running his fingers through my hair. He began to tell me not to worry about anything and how he was there for me. I felt like this was too unreal. Why was he helpin me. Was this a set up? I raised up and looked at Montrece and asked "What do you really want from me, Wh are you being so nice to me?" He looked deep into my eyes " I just want to give you what you've been missing. I cant give you everything but you deserve just that and more. You desserve to be shown a love you've never had before" he pulled me close and kissed me softly on the lipsit felt like i had been shocked. I did'nt want to pull away from him. We pulled away and I saw Aden just staring at me. He gave Montrece the evil eye and hit his hand saying that we were being bad. We laughed and Montrece picked Aden up and asked if he wanted to go to the store with him. Aden agreed and put his shoes on. I decided to stay home because I was tired. I trusted Montrece around Aden which is big. I don't like too many people or trust too many people when it comes to Aden. He was my baby.
While Aden and Trece were gone I decided to watch tv. I had been so busy lately. Just as I got all into the show I got a call from a random number. Wonder who this is?
"Hello"
"Hey this is Lyrique look I know its been a while but I wanna make things right."
Lyrique used to be my best friend until she let a boy come between us. It was last year when i was dating a boy named Jovan and she got jealous and told him I cheated. I did kindof miss the friendship we had though. I felt lonely too so i decided to talk to her and make things better.
We talked or hours. I told her about my aunt passing, Montrece , adn the recent falling out with Jayce. She was'nt suprised when I told her about Jayce. She had always said he liked me and had a mean streak. As soon as I got off the phone I heard the boys walk in. They were singing some crazy sounding song. their bond was cute. I could really see him being in my future.
