𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗪𝗢 ❝ 𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐄, 𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐘 ❞
THE AFTERMATH of the blip resulted in Misty spending five years without her brother, making her quite protective over her older brother. This was a new adjustment for her brother as the two grew distance ever since she got her powers. Ned missed the relationship he once had with her, happy to at least have that back. Seeing Peter once again, after months brought back the old conflicted feelings she kept to herself. It was awkward for the two individuals to have feelings for each other. Misty was worried about what Stephen Strange mentioned to her the last time she saw him. He warned her about the fight not being over yet. The ominous warning, it frightened her. It's why she decided to spend her time researching and learning more about her powers and how she was able to get them as well as pushing away Peter and keeping him safe.
It did stun her to see the male gushing over her best friend MJ. Hopefully, her friend felt the same way. No matter how much she still had feelings for Peter, she just wanted him to be happy. Having a normal girlfriend and not one who couldn't protect others despite having powers. Misty watched from her seat on the plane, seeing Peter trying to spend more time with MJ. She couldn't help but chuckle at Peter's attempt of lying about a perfume allergy to be able to sit next to MJ. This backfired as Misty watched Peter heading towards where she was seated. She didn't expect this and now she has to sit next to Peter for the entire flight. Betty Brant gets up from her seat, heading towards the row of seats her brother occupied. She looks back to notice Brad Davis sat next to MJ.
"He's sitting next to her, isn't she?" Peter sighed. She wanted to be encouraging. Misty soon nudged his side, making Peter look at her.
"You're trying way too hard." Misty said.
"I can't help myself."
"Just be yourself. The real Peter Parker is better than the Peter you are trying to be now." Peter slightly chuckled, ruffling the mop of curls in his hair.
"Which Peter did you like?" he asked while staring at her fondly, making Misty nervous. She tries not to blush, biting on the insides of her cheeks.
"My preference is something we're not discussing." she dismissed.
"I...right right. Sorry, I forgot." Peter's voice trailed off.
"Ned mentioned you've been having nightmares." she changed the subject.
"He also mentioned you're having them as well." Peter added.
"Ned and his big mouth." Misty rolled her eyes, making Peter chuckle.
"I'm glad you're coming along. It's good to have someone to talk to about...stuff. Someone that...gets it." he slightly smiled.
