Dahyun found herself in a familiar place but not on her own room. She widened her eyes as she sat up. A wet towel then fell from her forehead and suddenly, the door opened.

"Finally, you're awake."

"Taehyung?" she creased her forehead.

"What? Need something? Mom told me to bring you food," he said as he put the tray he was holding to the table near Dahyun.

Dahyun massaged her head.

Taehyung then stated, "If you're still dizzy then don't move around too much."

She glared at him.

Taehyung widened his eyes in reply, "What? You're the one who's stubborn, saying you won't fall sick and stuff. You even sent the maids on vacation."

Dahyun sighed, "I used to live alone in America, anyways."

She then eyed the food and looked back at Taehyung. Teasingly, she asked, "Won't you feed me?"

Taehyung let out a scoff, "You wish."

Dahyun just chuckled as she got the soup then she added, "If it was Jimin, he would surely insist on feeding me."

"Do you want me to call him then?" Taehyung asked in a serious but irritated tone.

Dahyun blinked a few times seeing how Taehyung' face was so stiff.

She let out a scoff, "Kidding. I was just kidding. Chill. Your temper's even hotter than my temperature."

"That's because you are naturally annoying, Kim Dahyun," Taehyung furrowed his forehead.

Dahyun made face as she ate, "Thanks, anyways."

Taehyung just kept quiet as he watched Dahyun ate while he sat on his chair.

Breaking the silence, he asked her, "Why do you have to live alone anyways?"

Dahyun looked at him with a confused face, "I already told you that it's near Christmas and the maids-"

"No. Why do you have to live alone in America? Why did you leave suddenly?" Taehyung bombarded her.

Dahyun finished her soup silently, without answering Taehyung' question. She then drank the water that Taehyung brought before saying, "Because I need to study."

"You could have just studied here. You studied here with me when you were in elementary! And even when you were in middle school," Taehyung argued, "Why did you have to transfer at the middle of the year?! We could have graduated from the same school again!"

Taehyung then realized that he was already raising his voice.

Dahyun sighed, "I did not leave suddenly. It was planned. Now go. I want to be alone. Thank you for taking care of me."

She did not say anything anymore as she wrapped herself entirely with the blanket. She heard Taehyung sigh before leaving the room.

"You always forget," Dahyun whispered, inaudible for Teaehyung.

Taehyung shook his head as he closed the door behind him. He looked up and remember the time when he heard the news.

"Dahyun!" Taehyung said as he banged on their gate. He was so happy to break the news to Dahyun. Then, Mrs. Bae, one of the caretakers in the Kim's residences, opened their gate and greeted him with a warm smile.
