It was their most awaited moment: the day of the play. It was the day wherein they would showcase everything that they have prepared for.

"Are you nervous? Did you bring everything you need? Are you ready?" Taehyung bombarded her with questions.

"You sound like you're more nervous than me. I'm fine, Taehyung," Dahyun answered.

"Our faces are everywhere!" Jimin exclaimed, pertaining to the posters and other publicity materials in their school.

"It's really embarrassing," Dahyun replied, hiding her face with the few strands of her hair.

Taehyung replied, "Those are just pictures. Later is the real thing. Are you really ready?"

Dahyun let out a scoff, "You've been asking me that all day! I told you, I am!"

As the two glared at each other, Irene ended up in chortles making the three turn their attention to her.

"I'm sorry," Irene spoke, "It's just that, you two are still cat and dog. I seriously miss this."

"It's your fault for leaving suddenly!" Taehyung scolded her and Irene beamed before muttering a 'sorry.'

The male then turned to Dahyun as he said, "Yah. Give me your money. I'll buy our lunch."

Dahyun shook her head, "You know, it would be kinder of you if you would just treat me to lunch."

Taehyung widened his eyes at her, "Do you want me to?"

But then she shook her head and replied, "That was a very rare offer, but I guess I have to refuse. I have a packed lunch with me."

As she got her lunchbox and opened it, Taehyung muttered, "Who prepared this? Didn't she know that you hate green peas?"

"I did," Jimin said as he took a pause from chewing.

"Since when did you start preparing lunch for her?" Taehyung asked, "Is she blackmailing you or something?"

"Hey! I didn't!" Dahyun complained as she threw one of the green peas to Taehyung.

Jimin chucked, "No, but she wanted to eat green peas, so I volunteered to cook for her."

"Dahyun and green peas do not match each other," Taehyung insisted, but when he turned to Dahyun, she was eating it nonchalantly.

He opened his mouth to argue but he couldn't find the right words to say. Instead, it was Irene who summarized, "I didn't know many things could happen in a short span of time."

"What are you doing?" Dahyun asked.

"It's a paper crane," Taehyung answered.

"For what?"

"For good luck. They said that paper cranes grant wishes," Taehyung grinned before presenting one that he finished, "Well, I wish you get accepted to the basketball club!"

Dahyun shook her head, "Taehyung oppa, in order to grant a wish, it should be a thousand paper cranes and not just one."

"Ahhh. I got lazy," Taehyung scratched the back of his neck.

But Dahyun beamed bright as she took the paper crane from his hand, "I'll let it pass as long as you make me a thousand next time."

Taehyung smiled back and they just stared at each other, grinning like fools.
