Austin turned locking eyes with Shawn up on stage. Shawn turned to Diego. "Keep playing." He said then stepped down from the stage and walked over to them.

Diego ignored this request, put down his guitar and followed him.

"Get your hands off of her." Shawn said sternly.

"Fuck you, Mendes!"

"Take...your hands...off of my sister."

Austin laughed, "Or what?! You wouldn't hurt a fucking fly!"

Just then he was punched across the jaw and stumbled back. "He wouldn't but I would. Now get the hell out of here!" Diego shouted.

"You tell me where she is!" Austin shouted at Rosa.

"Boys, take him outside." Diego said.

As he was dragged out, Shawn looked at Rosa with such a confused look. It was heartbreaking.

"Let's play boys!" Diego cried and the band started up again.

Rosa turned and headed into the back office. Shawn followed behind her.

Rosa was already crying. "I'm sorry. She made me swear not to say anything."

"Is she okay?"

"Sort of...I mean...yes."

Shawn stepped closer to her. "Please, Rosa?"

Rosa wiped her tears. "I didn't want Austin to bother her, so she is at my friend's house."

"Where is that?"

Rosa grabbed a pad off of the desk and wrote the address down for him. She hesitantly handed it to him.

"Please cover for me? Please?"

She nodded and watched him almost sprint out.

He pretty much jogged the entire way. He caught his reflection in a car window and tried to fix his hair. It had been six years since they spoke.

As he thought back to the events that lead to them parting ways, he suddenly lost his nerve. He walked to the side of the house and sat on the grass.

He didn't like to blame others for his mistakes, but Austin did play a huge role in their fallout. He never really liked the guy and it only intensified as they got older.

Just like he assured her, her time had definitely come. It came without warning the summer before high school.

School was about to start again in a week. Shawn and Camila were enjoying there last few nights of relaxation before the school year started.

"Papa is so excited about the restaurant opening tomorrow."

Shawn smiled. "The food truck days are over. He has worked so hard. He deserves it."

Camila nodded, but appeared to be unsure how to feel.

"What is it?"

"What? It's nothing."

Shawn raised an eyebrow and waited for her to express her true feelings.

"Okay. It's just I am worried about it being successful."

"Well, we are all going to do everything we can to help."
