Iron bars were clanging as it was opened by a policeman.
"Hey kid, you're free to go, your guardian is here, please don't cause any trouble next time."
Yujin started walking away from the detention cell, and an old man was waiting for him outside.
"Uncle Kiba, sorry for causing trouble once again..."
"Don't say that kid, I know you're doing the right thing, no matter what people say, this is how your mother, my sister raised you, and I think, despite people around her saying she raised you wrong, I highly think that she just raised you the right way. I didn't know your condition when you were brought in here since their medic already treated you, but I can see that you were probably badly injured when you got here. You can help people all you want, just try not to hurt yourself, your sister will be sad if something happens to you."
The two then walked together up to their house. Their house was composed of a standard first floor and a staircase leading to their rooftop. Clothes were hanging in their roof. And the wall was barely painted.
The old man prepared their meal while Yujin went to the bedroom and carried a baby boy. He went straight to the dining room and sat across the old man. A few minutes after they started eating, a young girl wearing a school uniform, then walked inside their house. This is the current Ka'el family.
Uncle Kiba sitting on the left side of the table, across him is Yujin carrying a baby named Yubel. And beside Yujin is his younger sister, Yumi.
"Heyyyy Jini, I heard you got in trouble once again, and what's worse is that you even got detained."
"Yes, I was, but then, if I were given a chance, I would probably do it again."
"You're really stubborn brother Jini, stop wasting your life of stupid things."
"I think it was the right thing, it doesn't matter what happens to me."
"It matters to me‼ I need more chocolates that you bring home‼"
Uncle Kiba started laughing at the two kids in front of him, arguing.
"My children, both of you were wrong, it matters if you do the right thing or not. It also matters what happens to you Yujin. It matters to me. You already know this. The three of my children already left me behind because of that same ideology. I spent my whole life being a Seeker, wandering, and finding the truth about this universe. Gaining so much wealth but left my family behind. In the end, they didn't even know the father that rarely got home."
He started looking up as if he's looking something other than the ceiling. He continued,
"Because I don't care what happened to me, and it doesn't really matter if I did the right thing, the only thing that I had in mind was I need to feed my family no matter what. But what I didn't know is the hardship that their mother was feeling. And, the hardship of my kids feeling bad for their mother."
Yumi looked at her Uncle and said, "Well, what you did was not really wrong since all of my 3 cousins were living better lives because of you. And even if you did make a mistake, you're already atoning for those sins by adopting us."
Yujin smiled and even raised the baby that he's carrying in front of Kiba, "Hey Uncle, I think you forget something, you didn't fail all of your children, Yubel is still here with us, he's the last gift that aunt Miran gave you before she died, I hope you didn't forget about that".
