I Never Wanted To Be a Hero

All of them were in a state of panic but can't even move because of fear that there might be another creature like that in the darkness.

But two people stood up to the lady, it was Vincent and Marrion.

"Hey man, we haven't got much fun for a few months," Marrion told Vincent

"Finally, we got a worthy opponent, not some dumb senior students in our school," Vincent replied.

The giant swung its arms once again, but both managed to dodge it. Marrion, using his abilities, made multiple swords made of lightning in his hands, and threw it at the rest of the group.

"Guys, in some unexpected situations, you have to defend yourselves," Marrion told them.

The group then started taking the swords.

"Wow, I guess these are the perks of the strongest in our school, I'm holding a lightning sword, all made by lightning from the hilt up to the end of the blade, but the hilt doesn't hurt while the edge of the blade hurts like I was burning," Chadwick explained.

The lady kept on slamming her fists at the duo. But both managed to dodge everything. Marrion formed another weapon, this time, a bow and arrow. Vincent, using his fire abilities, managed to take the giant's attention. While distracted, Marrion managed to hit its eyes.

"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa‼", the giant screamed

Suddenly, the giant's movements became weird. Her body started twisting like she doesn't have any backbone.

"This bitch will be a problem sooner or later, her moves are getting out of hand, we have to end this fast, Vincent," Marrion spoke.

"Alright then, I was unleashing flames repeatedly, but it seems this bitch is fireproof or something. I gotta use another method", Vincent replied as he raised his own arms.

Suddenly, many rocks on the ground started to cluster around his fists, and then he unleashed fire, combining the two, molten magmas were formed and was unleashed to the giant.

The whole group was amazed by Vincent, the king of Harthos, only 18 years old, managed to acquire two different abilities. And not only that, he combined it together, forming his unique technique, just the right man worthy of a title of a king.

With the molten magma falling atop of her, the giant was pinned down on the ground with its whole body covered with magma except for its head.

"Do your thing, man, she can't move anymore, make sure you pierce right through her brain," Vincent said.

Marrion then formed a spear and run straight ahead to the giant's eye. He aimed the spear right at her eye correctly, and lightning appeared in his hands as he's using it to increase the spear's power like of a bullet.

"What th—," Marrion gasped.

As he was about to release the spear, a humanoid being appeared in the dark and bit his neck. Marrion was pinned down.

"Hang on dude," Vincent was about to help, but screams were also heard from the rest of the group.

Vincent saw that there were also other humanoid beings coming to the group in all directions from the darkness. Aaron was swarmed. He ignored them for now and decided to help Marrion. But as he gets near, another two humanoids being swarmed at Marrion, biting his flesh away. Vincent saw the humanoids.

"What... Undead... why are there multiple undead creatures under our kingdom?", Vincent said.

Vincent unleashed his flames at the undead swarming Marrion, but the giant's head moved, it immediately ate Marrion and the three undead swarming him. Vincent looks in horror as he watches his friend get chewed to his death. With no more options, he decided to go back and protect the group.
