After several weeks passed we finally returning back to the castle only to find that the kingdom had become deserted, there wasn't a living soul around, we found that it was the same inside the castle. We searched frantically trying to find anyone that might tell us what happened and there was one who was close to death but told us what happened before drawing their last breath
Kingdom attacked...
We decided to leave this place in case whatever attacked here decided to come back, I could see the fear in Athena's eyes since we couldn't find her father but she never spoke a word of it.
Dante: we'll male camp here.
Niko: I hate to pry but perhaps you should comfort her.
Xoda: the fox is right Dante, she needs a friend right now and seeing as you have known her longer perhaps you should talk to her.
Dante: yeah, you are both right. Niko start a fire will you?
I walked to where she was and seen her standing in the water while she cleaned herself up.
Dante: we will find your father Athena I promise...
Athena: you're so quick to find people.... Some people don't want to be found you know?
Dante: well I found you didn't I?
Athena: you got lucky....
Dante: why did you leave in the first place?
Athena: because I hated who I was forced to become that's why.
Dante: you were getting married, what's wrong with that?
Athena: I was marrying the wrong person, I didn't love him like I love---
Dante: you would have fallen in love with him eventually and that's all that matters...
Athena: if you know so much about love than how come you don't have a woman to go home to?
I didn't say anything else about it and was about to walk away when she walked up behind me and wrapped her arms around my waist while she rested her head on my back.
Athena: let's not fight, we need each other from now on....
Dante: I agree, put this on... I grabbed it before we left the city.
