Three days passed since I informed my father of the love I felt for someone other than the one that wanted my hand in marriage and it ended in disaster, I did the only thing I felt was right and that was to escape the safety of the castle walls and flee from the city that I once called home, I needed to start living my own life and not have it planned out for me for others happiness, truth was I found happiness but it wasn't in the arms of a prince that was staying in the neighboring city a thousand miles away from here. After I escaped I immediately found refuge in a nearby cave that appeared to be empty but I discovered it was being used for the same purpose that I had in mind. I was about to go find shelter somewhere else when I heard the creature speaking to me.
Xoda: this isn't the safest place for a lonely female such as yourself.
Athena: I will find shelter elsewhere, and I won't be alone much longer once I others notice that I am gone.
Xoda: you can stay here as long as you like just release the creature you rode here on.
Athena: I need him to ride on.
Xoda: have it your way but if I was running away from home I wouldn't want people to know where I am especially with a palace horse hanging around.
Athena: I guess I could walk from now on...
I unsaddled the horse and removed everything else from him and watched him run away after the creature scared him off.
Athena: what is your name creature?
Xoda: names aren't important human...
Athena: I think we should get to know each other if we are to share this place together.
Xoda: my name is Xoda, what is your name princess?
Athena: my name is Athena, and how did you know I was a princess?
Xoda: it's not hard to figure out, a commoner wouldn't be wearing fancy clothes unless that person is a thief and you don't look like a thief.
Athena: please don't say anything about me running away from my castle, I refuse to be forced to marry a stranger that my father likes.
Xoda: you can come with me from now on Athena, nobody will harm you with me around but you should get a less fancy outfit.
Athena: I will but the nearest town is miles away it will take hours for me to get there.
Xoda: climb on my back, I will take you there.
I did as he suggested and grabbed onto the hair on his back as he flew towards the nearest city so I could purchase a new outfit.
