Renamon and Lucario's love and action stories

Chapter 15 The Flames of Victory.

Lucario does help Renamon eventually

Lucario: hey. I just thought of something.

Renamon: as long as it is not about making fun of me.

Lucario: I had my laugh. The famous Ash Ketchum is going to have a tournament battle here! In this city!

Renamon: Is he any good?

Lucario: He is amazing! He seen and met with many legendary Pokemon! 

Renamon: Would you be happy if I told you I may have "found" a ticket to that tournament battle?

Lucario: HOW?! 

Renamon: I wasn't going to leave that trainer guy following me without at least taking something for my troubles.

Lucario is just speechless

Renamon: Though it says here that technically a trainer gets to go in so I don't think we can just use it.

Lucario: AHG!! This is so unfair...

Renamon: Though, you know a certain trainer who might be able to help.

Lucario: who? Wait. Scott?

Renamon nods

Lucario grabs Renamon's hands

Lucario: If you do this for me. I will finally admit that you are a better fighter than me.

Renamon: That's good enough for me.

The next day renamon and lucario go to Scott who happened to be in the tournament.

Scott: Go with you to the tournament? I am IN the tournament!

Lucario: Really! Please Renamon! you got to tell him to let us join the battles!

Renamon: That wasn't our deal! Anyway didn't Scott destroy your Pokeball?

Scott: I kinda fixed it... I couldn't let go. I guess Lucario wants to fight?

Renamon: yeah...If he is going then so will I.

Scott: Ok. Then lets get our game on!

Five days later the tournament starts

Scott managed to beat everyone and is in the semi-finals

Announcer: We shall now begin the semi-finals with on one side the famous, Ash Ketchum!

The crowd cheers

Announcer: and on the other side we have an underdog, Scott Coul!

The crowd is less excited 

Announcer: As the semi-final rules go only three Pokemon or Digimon can be used and only one Digimon can be used. These rules are unbalanced because as everyone knows Digimon are still new and we are still learning about them.

Ash: Well Scott, I hope you have a good time.

Scott: Same to you.

Ash: Go, Torterra!

Scott: Go Gabite!

nothing worthwhile happened. Scott won the first battle barely 

Ash: Come on out Infernape! Use Flamethrower!

With that move Gabite fainted.
