The next day

Lucario: Yawn! Good morning Renamon.

Renamon: Good morning Lucario.

Lucario: how about an early sparing match to help us wake up?

Renamon: You sure are persistent Jackal. But that is fine by me.

Lucario: Ok but outside my cave.

Lucario and Renamon exit the cave then get into fighting stances

Lucario: Aura Sphere!

Renamon dodges gracefully out of the way

Renamon: Diamond Storm!

Lucario closes his eyes and focus on where the shards are going to hit and he blocks them

Renamon: You are finally blocking my attack.

Lucario: I know, I was practicing-

Renamon appeared behind Lucario much to his surprise

Renamon kicked lucario in the back knocking him to the ground

voice in lucario's mind: finish the fight! Turn into Mega Lucario!

Lucario's thoughts: no. I promised not to...

Lucario: Close combat!

Lucario managed to punch Renamon in the stomach

Renamon: Oof!

Then out of nowhere a trainer appears

Trainer: Go, Wartortle! Use Hydro Pump on the Digimon and lucario!

Renamon and lucario dodge out of the way

Renamon: ugh! another wannabe trainer. Diamond storm!

Trainer: Wartortle use Tackle!

Lucario: Counter!

Lucario punched wartortle doing twice the damage to it then it did to him.

Trainer: Wartortle!

Lucario: LEAVE US ALONE! Close combat!

Lucario was going to use close combat on the trainer who then cowered in fear but Renamon stopped Lucario.

Renamon: That's enough. Don't go overboard. You are letting your emotions cloud your judgement. Just look at the guy, he wetted his pants he is no threat.

Lucario looks at the trainer who is shaking in fear then the trainer returned Wartortle and ran away.

Lucario: This isn't like me... I don't let my emotions cloud my judgement...

Renamon: Well, recently that is what has been happening.

Lucario: Morning training is now over... I need to meditate...

Lucario sits down and begins to meditate

Lucario has a vision

Lucario is on the peak of a mountain

Lucario: Where am I?

Lucario sees another Lucario that looks just like him at Mega lucario form but covered in blood

Lucario: Are you ok?!

Mega Lucario: Yes. Quite. I have a question for you.

Lucario: Ok. Ask me.

Mega Lucario: Do you like POWER, PAIN, and above all DOMINATION?

Lucario jokingly: Not much on the power or pain part, but domination sounds fun.

Mega Lucario and Lucario both laughs

Mega Lucario: Excellent! There is no going back now!

Then the mountain scene turns into a battlefield where piles of Human, Pokemon, and Digimon are stacked high.

Then lucario realized in horror that the blood on mega lucario is not his own blood.

Mega Lucario: This is what you wanted. Domination of the battlefield, Domination and control of your "friends and allies". Just give in to the you, you really are.

Lucario in a panic: W...who are you?!

Mega Lucario smiles and points to lucario

Mega Lucario: I am you.

The vision ends and Lucario's eyes jump open in shock
