Now that you've learned the letters, let's move on.
When you read Hangul, you read it upper left to upper right to lower left and then continue to the next syllable for example, 한 (han) the "ㅎ" is located at the upper left next to the "ㅏ" which is located on the upper right part. Then the "ㄴ" is located to the lower left. As you read the letters in order, h-a-n. Han.
Another thing, you can read syllables up to down. For example, 훈 (hun) the "ㅎ" is located at the top then below is the "ㅜ" and the "ㄴ" is located below "ㅜ" connect the letters together, h-u-n. Hun.
Let's try this:
감사
The "ㄱ" (slightly pronounced as "k" in the previous chapter) is located in the upper left next to the "ㅏ" that is located in the upper right then the "ㅁ" in the bottom. As you read it in order, k-a-m-s-a. Kamsa!
Next example:
아니요
This one's easy. "ㅇ" acts as a silent letter since it is placed in the beginning, next to it is the "ㅏ" followed by the "ㄴ" and "ㅣ" and once again "ㅇ" acts as a silent letter since it is also placed in the beginning (it is another syllable). So it is read as "Aniyo"
