Stop making yourself suffer.

 The following day, you were discharged from the hospital. Still a bit dizzy.

"Alright honey, you're going to be able to go home today. However, this doesn't mean you should quit resting. As soon as I get you home, please go straight to bed. I don't want you going back to school either. Not until you can walk without getting light headed." Ayane was helping you out of the hospital bed. "And please, while you're alone at home, do not answer the door. I don't want...... HIM...... being around you anymore. He may feel the need to visit you while I'm not around." "A-alright mom....." You hesitantly said. (Though, if he was to show up, you knew you'd talk to him. You needed to. You were worried about him.) 

Exiting the hospital, she helped you into the car. Once you started heading towards home, you spoke up. "Mom, um.... please stop being so hard on him.... he REALLY didn't mean to....." "Meaning to or not, he still hurt you. I can't easily forgive that. I'd prefer if you stayed away from violent people like him...." "But he.... I....." What were you going to tell her? We were fighting each other with ghosts? It was all just training? She couldn't even see Mondai Girl. Trying to get her to understand what stands were would make her think you got brain damage from the fall. You decided to try and make up a believable lie. 

Exhaling, you said "Look, mom..... It was actually my fault. I tripped into the pond while showing him around. He was the one that pulled me out and called the ambulance, he did nothing to me." "Are you trying to defend him now? I suppose that bruise on your cheek came from the pond too? I've been a doctor for quite a while. I've seen quite a few fights and domestic deputes in my life. I can tell you were punched. Don't try to hide it from me." "I'm sorry...." A silence filled the air for a bit. Breaking the silence you finally said: "Just, please. Forgive him. Please." Tears streamed down your face and you began to sob. "I can't do that (y/n). I just want to protect you...." The rest of the ride home was quiet.

Arriving home

Your mom helped you out of the car and into the house. Propped on her shoulder, you fought off dizzy spells. Finally getting into bed, you quickly pulled the covers over your head. Still a sobbing mess, you didn't want to be bothered anymore. Ayane sighed as she closed your door behind her. "Tsk Dammit all." She whispered before walking away. She had to go back to work, leaving you alone, just like you wanted.

For a few hours, you did nothing but think about how this all could be fixed. You thought about calling Jotaro, but figured his mom would tell yours. Despite what her son did, Holly was still your mom's friend. Eventually, not caring about your mom's words, you decided you'd go to school the next day and see him. She wouldn't have to know.

The next morning

Waking up to the sound of a blaring alarm clock make your head hurt worse than it already did. You didn't care tho. You had to see him. You couldn't wait till your head was healed. Everything just HAD to be fixed as soon as possible. Using Mondai Girl to help keep you steady, you got dressed and ate a quick breakfast. Putting your shoes on, you stopped to catch your breath for a second before heading out the door. You usually preferred walking to school, but figured it'd be way better for you to catch a bus today, so you hobbled over to the nearest bus stop and, after waiting for a bit, boarded one.

School

Arriving, you looked around. No Jotaro. "That's alright, I'll see him in class..... I hope....." what if he didn't come today? Did he even come while you were in the hospital? You weren't sure. Maybe he didn't feel like coming after what had happened. Getting to the stairs you stopped. "I don't know if I can climb these." You got an idea. "I know! I'll use MG's battle form! If I prop myself on her while we climb I won't fall!" Not wanting to ride her because that would look very weird, you summoned her and propped your hand on her back. Climbing the stairs was easy like this.
