New To Me (Jotaro x Female!Reader)

Training with stands.

It was Monday, and your mother had just left for the hospital. You were stuck eating breakfast alone, anticipating what would happen later today. Stand training. Over the past week, Jotaro had shared more information about stands with you. You had practiced in the privacy or your room with MG, and had learned that she could take on a second, bigger form. Jotaro didn't know about it yet, however, you wanted to surprise him when he came over. Maybe he'd be impressed? You found yourself caring a lot about what he thought about you lately. He was the first friend you'd ever really had after all. Quickly finishing your food, you rushed out the door, filled with excitement.

Arriving at school

Once you got to school, you saw Jotaro standing at the bottom of the stairs. Of course he was surrounded by girls who had grown to hate you over the past week. You were closer to him than they were. Approaching him you yelled out "Hey Jotaro! Why are you just standing there?" The girls turned and glared at you. "Get lost slut!" one barked at you. Jotaro forced his way away from them and walked towards you. "I was waiting for you. I thought we could talk on the way to class." The girls screamed.

"Why do you want to walk with her?"

"She's only been here for a week!"

"What does she have that I don't?"

"Tch" Jotaro turned and shouted at them "SHUT THE HELL UP AND BACK OFF! DAMN YOUR SO FREAKEN ANNOYING!" They all blushed. "OK" they said in unison as they walked away, still glaring at you. You really didn't like them..... Jotaro didn't either, but they would never leave you guys alone. "*Sigh* Now that the banshees are gone, we should get going." you said, starting up the stairs. "Hmm." Jotaro tilted his hat down and followed you. "So, what was it we were gonna talk about? You haven't walked to class with me since I got here you know." "I wanted to know if we're still gonna train today." "Of course! I'm super excited for it!" You raised your fist in the air. "It's gonna be so much fun right?" Looking over, you saw him looking into the distance. He had mentioned he hadn't used SP in a while since his last fight. He didn't tell you much about it, but you knew it had to be painful for him. 

He always looked so sad when talking about it. "Hey." You said to him. He glanced over at you. "If your afraid of hurting me or something, don't be worried. I'm pretty tough and my mom's a doctor! I'll be fine!" You gave him a smile. "Yare yare. It's not that, but I'll make sure to go easy on you.... wouldn't want you to start crying or anything." You saw a small smile form on his face. You suddenly felt warm. You never saw him smile before. "Oh shut up tough guy!" you playfully said back. The rest of the walk to class was quiet, neither of you saying a word. The warmth in your face still hadn't gone completely away. It was an awkward walk to say the least.

During lunch you talked about different techniques and training methods you'd use. Dodging punches, focus training, speed training, simple sparing matches, and just testing Mondai Girl's abilities, and general strengths and weaknesses. You know, stuff you'd think stand training would consist of.

After School

Exiting the school, the 2 of you headed for your house. Your mother wouldn't be home till after midnight, so you basically had the whole day to yourselves. Since you probably wouldn't see her much for the next week or so, you really could train all you wanted to, undisturbed. "Oh yeah, does your mom know you're coming over?" You didn't really expect him to have told Holly about it. "Yeah. I told her so she wouldn't worry when I didn't come home." You were surprised when he said that. He didn't want her to worry..... Your face got hot again. You thought it was kind of cute that he didn't want to worry her. He'd probably be pissed if he knew though. "That's good. I know my mother's been worrying about leaving me alone for most of the week... She was happy when I told her I was having a friend I made over. Of course I didn't tell her it was you, she'd freak if I was alone with a guy." You laughed nervously. Realizing you were actually gonna be alone with Jotaro, it embarrassed you just thinking about it.
