Author's note: This is my FIRST JoJo fanfic ever and I don't really write much, plus I'm dumb, so I hope you like it.

You and your mom had just moved to Tokyo. She was a doctor and had gotten a job at a hospital there. She informed you that she was most likely going to be very busy, and won't get to be home much from now on. You weren't nervous about being home alone, you didn't need other people to keep you company. You didn't know anyone in the area, however, so you were mostly just nervous about meeting people at your new school. You were unpacking, thinking about what this school will be like. "Will the students just think I'm weird, like always?" You asked yourself.

When you were in elementary school, the other children would tease you for talking to yourself. In middle school, they would keep their distance from you. You were the "weird" one. They didn't understand, because nobody else saw her. Since you were born, she was with you. A Kuda-gitsune (Pipe Fox), that you called Mondai Girl, and could summon at will. She'd always wrap herself around you like a snake, like she was hugging you. You had no idea why she was there, or why others couldn't see her, but that didn't matter to you. You loved talking to her, she never talked back, but she kept you company nonetheless. "I wonder if I'll be able to find someone who can see you...." you said. "I'm probably just being too hopeful though."

Just then, you heard a crash. "(Y/n) come help me for a second!" You heard your mom in the livingroom and quickly ran to help. Your mom had accidently spilled the contents of a suitcase on the floor. "I tripped on something. I'm fine, but it was one hell of a fall!" She laughed. "You need to be more careful!" You said, helping her. "I'm fine (y/n). Besides, if I do hurt myself, it's alright because I'm a doctor!" She struck a pose. You laughed. Your mom would always try hard to make you laugh. You loved when she did stupid stuff, though you knew that she probably did half of it to make herself forget about her jackass of an ex-husband, your father. He cheated on her on several occasions, then just left without saying anything to you. You always thought that if you ever saw him again, you'd kick his ass. You finished helping her unpack, then went back to your room.

1 hour later

You were just about done getting your stuff set up, when your mom came in. "Hey, how about we go out and see what kind of food Tokyo has to offer?" "So a food break then? Sounds good to me!" You threw the rest of your stuff wherever and left the house. You ended up at a ramen shop, because your mom said it smelt good. "Of course the first restaurant we visit in Tokyo is a freaken ramen shop..." You thought. The 2 of you sat down and ordered some Tokyo Style Ramen. "Ok, so! Are you excited to be going to a new school tomorrow?" Your mom suddenly asked. "Not really. I'm not sure I'll be able to make friends this time either..." "Oh, just have hope and confidence in yourself! You'll find the perfect friend before you know it! Maybe.... you'll even bring home a boy if you really try!" "Mom!" You were embarrassed that she'd say that. "Well you never know! You are 17 now! Love and marriage is just around the corner!" "Please, stop." You laid your head in your arms.

You sat like that for a minute before your ramen finally arrived, and you began to eat. Just then, you heard a big thump on the seat beside you. You looked up. It was a large High school student, and, who you guessed was his mother beside him. You were in awe of how big he was. The uniform told you that he was from the school you were going to be attending. You freaked out, were all students there gonna be this big and scary looking? Almost immediately his mother started talking. "Hey Hachigen!" She waved for the man who was working at the counter. "I'll have the usual! Jotaro, what would you like? Like I was telling you, this place is great, get whatever you like, and I'm sure you'll love it!"

She struck a piece sign pose. It reminded you of your mother a bit. The boy pulled his hat down over his eyes. "Yare yare daze. I'll just have a cup of tea." His voice was cold and calm. "Come on Jotaro, is that all?" The lady frowned. "I told you I didn't want to come." "But you came anyway and you should eat something! Hachigen! Get him a bowl of Tokyo Style Shoyu Ramen!" The boy sighed. You turned back to your ramen and were only half done with yours when you felt him tap on your shoulder. You turned and met his aqua green eyes, peering into you. "Is that stuff any good?" His voice was pretty emotionless. You quickly turned away from his gaze. "It's pretty good." you said nervously. "Hmm." He looked down and didn't talk anymore.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Your mom had finished before you and started talking about how nervous she was about her job. "I'm not sure I'll be able to handle it, but I'll try my hardest! You try your hardest at your new school tomorrow too!" She gave you a dorky look and a thumbs up. Jotaro's mother suddenly turned to you 2. "Oh, a new job and school? You must be new in town!" "Indeed we are, my daughter and me just moved here from Kamakura." "Oh, well welcome to Tokyo! My name is Holly, but you can call me Seiko, and this is my adorable son Jotaro!" "Nice to meet you! My name's Ayane and this is my daughter (y/n)." Your mothers seemed to get along really well, not surprising in the least.

You and Jotaro just sat there in silence as your moms talked about stuff you didn't at all care about. Finally, you initiated a conversation. "So... uh... Jotaro... I guess I'll be going to the same school as you... from the look of your uniform." "Is that so?" He pushed his hat up a bit, but didn't look at you. "Um... I don't know what else to say..." You thought, as you were always bad at talking to others. "I guess.... I'll see you tomorrow maybe?" You finally said. "Hmm." He pulled his hat down again, got up, payed his bill, and left without saying another word. "Where's he going?" You asked. "He just does what he wants most of the time. I wish he would be more sociable, but what can you do?" She laughed, sighed, and stood up. "Well, this was nice, but I should probably get going too. I'll give you my phone number and we can continue our conversation later if you'd like!" Your moms exchanged numbers and you all went home.

Later that night.

You were thinking about him. "Jotaro..." you thought "Can I be friends with him? He's so cold... he even left his mom at the shop alone..." You summoned Mondai Girl and spoke to her. "I doubt he could even see you on top of all of that." You fell asleep and dreamed about a huge bowl of ramen, that looked like your father, chasing you. Just then Jotaro fell from the sky and threw his hat at it, destroying it. "Good dream." you though as you awoke the next morning.
