A walk by the sea.

The next morning, you awoke from a night of restlessness. You'd only slept for about 4 hours, too bothered by what had occurred. "Hey (y/n), it's time to wake up! I got breakfast ready!" Holly called out as she opened your door. "Come on! Get up!" "I'm already awake!" You sat up, lazily, rubbing your eyes. "Good! Hurry up and get ready, you don't want to be late now! Jotaro's already in the kitchen eating!" Oh yeah, you were gonna have to face Jotaro at breakfast. How was he going to react to you? He'd probably ignore you. Or glare at you. Thinking of how he treated his little group at school, you freaked out.

Quickly walking to the kitchen, you told yourself "It's ok, just don't look at him.... It'll be fine! Right?" You saw that Holly had set you a place beside Jotaro. Great. Sitting down next to him, you tried your hardest not to even glance at him. Instead you focused your attention on Holly. Taking a bite of food, you said to her "Mrs. Kujo, this is delicious! Since my mom's always busy, you should teach me how to cook sometime!" "Oh thank you so much (y/n)! That sounds like fun." She smiled and gave a thumbs up. As you talked with her, unnoticed by you, Jotaro had been staring at you the whole time from underneath his hat. He wasn't the least bit angry, but annoyed that you were ignoring him. "Well, that was good, I'm gonna go get my stuff together then we can head on out." Saying that, you got up and quickly ran back to the guest room. You quickly grabbed your bag, and without telling anyone, you slipped out, alone. The thought of walking to school with Jotaro was awkward as hell to you, so you left without him.

At school

Arriving at school, you looked around, he wasn't anywhere to be seen. Good. You knew you'd have to see him in class, as he sits right next to you. He couldn't be avoided forever, and you knew that, but it didn't stop you from wanting to walk alone now. Because you were alone today, the girls figured they'd confront you. Too afraid to while he was around, now was the perfect time. "Hey bitch, what'd you do with Jotaro today? He broke up with you didn't he! Ha!" "I don't need this right now, so screw off." You walked by them without a second thought. Before you got to far, however, one of them grabbed your arm. "Hold it! We're not gonna let you get away that easily!" "Hey! Let go of me!" You threw your hands out and grabbed her shirt. "You little...." she punched your stomach with her other hand. 

MG rushed out to protect you, but just as she was about to wrap around the girl's arm, a familiar hand grabbed her. It was Star Platinum. Jotaro threw his arm between the 2 of you. "Hey, knock it off! Back away from her right now, of there's gonna be a real problem." Glancing up, you saw that he was talking to the other girl. Why was he protecting you? "A-alright, we're so sorry!" She bowed, then the group retreated. Quickly looking away from him, you managed to whisper out a "Thank you." to him. "Yare yare, why the hell did you leave without me?" "I don't know, I just...." "Didn't want to talk to me?" You looked down and made a small grunt of displeasure. "I don't know why you're being like this today. I wanna talk to you about it. You know? How about we skip school today..." "Wha-" "We can go back to your house if your mom's not there. I want to speak with you in private, and school'll just get in the way." You head felt like it was going to explode as the heat rushed in suddenly. "But, what about all that stuff about focusing hard to get good grades?" "It can wait for today. This is more important." He grabbed your hand and let you away from school.

Home

Ignoring your mom's rule about not being alone with Jotaro, you proceeded into the house anyway. Just as expected, she wasn't there. If she even came home from work last night, you figured she'd only got a few hours of sleep before having to go back. Being a doctor in a big city sure takes it's toll. "I'll make us some tea." you ran off to the kitchen almost immediately. As you were getting the cups out of the cabinet, suddenly, Jotaro came up behind you and placed his hands on the counter. A hand on each side, you were boxed in. "What are you doing?" You turned around. Big mistake, your face was right in his chest. The tomato face was back. You looked up and met his eyes. "(y/n)" he said softly. 'Why did you do that so suddenly then ran away?" You were speechless. "You should have just told me you idiot. I had a feeling that was what it was about, but I didn't want to believe it." "D-does that mean you reject me then?" You broke eye contact. He lifted his hand and flicked you. "Oww!" You pulled your hands to your forehead. "What the hell Jotaro?" He smiled then started laughing.
