Everything was dark and spinning. Your head was throbbing and you could hear faint talking. "Has she woken up yet?" It was a familiar voice. Jotaro Kujo. "I'm afraid not. There hasn't been any sign of response yet either. At this point we're not sure when she'll wake up...." An unfamiliar voice said. "I see..." Jotaro said as you heard him walk over and sit next to you. Where were you and what happened? You weren't sure. All you remembered was stand training, then suddenly, nothing. As you started to finally open your eyes, everything was blurry for a second before shifting into focus. It was a hospital. You looked over and saw Jotaro sitting in a chair. He looked surprised, yet relieved. "W-what happened to me?" You asked him weakly. "You've been..... knocked out for of couple days..... I brought you here after I......" He looked pained.
Since training was the last thing you could remember, you figured you knew what he was gonna say next. "It's ok, I think understand." Jotaro's eyes shot into yours. "You did this to me and you're blaming yourself right? P-please don't, it's alright...." "Yare yare, it's not.... I should have been able to stop you from hitting your head, but I didn't." He lowered his hat over his eyes. "When you slammed into the rocks..... I thought for a sec that I might have killed you. I was relieved that I didn't, but you're probably gonna have a nasty scar because of me....." "Jotaro......" You tried to sit up to comfort him, but the second you tried to, dizziness over came you. "You shouldn't move. Just rest for now." He put his left hand on your shoulder. "Ok.... but you know..... I forgive you, so don't beat yourself up." He exhaled but was silent for a moment. "You should try saying that after you've seen your face...." "What do you mean?" No answer. Putting your hand up to your face, you felt an acute pain in your cheek. You guessed it was a huge bruise. "I'm sorry, (y/n)....."

2 days before, your body was laying, motionless, in the pond. Blood filled the water. Jotaro stopped time and rushed to your body, he didn't want to waste a single second. Did he kill you? He wasn't sure until he pulled you up and checked your pulse. Relief washed over him when he felt you were still with him. He quickly stood up and called an ambulance, then immediately afterwards, called your mom. Riding with you in the ambulance, and visiting you when he could, he wanted to make sure you were ok throughout the whole ordeal. Always, by your side. He had felt so much guilt that he couldn't sleep well. Was he going to lose yet another friend? He had no idea. He still hadn't told you about his friends in Egypt. It pained him to think about, and you never wanted to try asking.

Sitting in an awkward silence together, neither of you knew what you wanted to say. You had forgiven him, but he didn't forgive himself. Seeing him like this really hurt you. What could you say to him? You could say nothing because you didn't fully understand his emotions. Suddenly a loud woman rushed in. It was your mom. Was this the hospital she worked at? "Omg (y/n) you're awake!" She rushed over and gave you a gentle hug. "M-mom.....?" "Shhh, it's ok. I was coming to change your bandages, but this is such a wonderful surprise!" She suddenly looked up at Jotaro. "I told you not to come here anymore.... why do I keep finding you here?" You were confused. Jotaro was the one that brought you here and made sure you were ok, why wouldn't he be here? Ayane hardly ever got mad, but she was pissed now. Holly had told her about her son's violent past, though Holly also praised him as a "good boy" a lot, Ayane just couldn't get past what he did to her precious daughter.
She figured she wouldn't want you to hang around such a person, and got angry when she heard Jotaro's voice on the phone, telling here that her daughter had be badly injured. She jumped to the conclusion that he either beat you up or got you mixed up in something. Your mother started to cry a little. "I've already forbidden you to see her anymore. My daughter doesn't need such a violent man in her life! Please, just leave." He was silent, but slowly got up. "Yare yare daze." he walked out. You couldn't see his eyes, but you could tell he was still pained. "Mom! It's alright! He didn't mean....." "It's ok, he won't hurt you anymore...." "But that's not....." "Just focus on healing for now dear, please." She quickly changed your bandages and left you to rest. That night, thinking about the pain Jotaro must be going through, you cried yourself to sleep. You had made up your mind, that you'd try to make it up to him as soon as possible.
