Y/N's POV:

"Morning gorgeous," Lachlan whispered as he nuzzled his head into my neck.

"Is it the morning already?" I groaned, still half asleep.

"It's almost midday," he laughed.

"Omg I really need to get moving then!" I said quickly before practically jumping out of bed to find my clothes which were scattered around the spacious hotel suite.

"What are you doing today," Lachlan called from his bedroom while I was collecting and putting on my clothes.

"I need to update my Instagram with some pictures and go to the retailers to retrieve some clothes I ordered," I responded.

"Talking about Instagram," he started. "I need to post them pictures from last night on my merch account." I meandered back into Lachlan's room and perched on the edge of his bed.

"I'm guessing you've got to go," Lachlan said in a melancholy tone.

"Yeah, I wish I could stay longer..." I began.

"Promise me this won't be the last time I see you," he begged.

"I promise, I'm sure we'll be able to arrange something for before you leave." I assured. He gave me a hug and planted a gentle kiss upon my forehead, then we both got up and he lead me towards the door.

"Are you sure you don't want me to drive you?"

"I'm positive, I'll see you soon," I exclaimed before stepping out of the door.

"I'll text you tonight," he called down the corridor. I smiled and continued to strut towards the stairs. As I'd gone to Lachlan's immediately after the club I hadn't brought a change of clothes so I had to put my dress and heels back on from last night.

"Excuse me miss." A voice called. I looked around and spotted the other blonde boy from the club standing up, beckoning me over.

"Did you call me?" I asked.

"Yes I did, I know something that you might want to know about." He explained.

"I'm sorry, what's your name?" I questioned.

"Oh goodness, how rude of me, I'm Mitch you're Y/N right?"

"Yes... how do you know who I am?"

"I'm a friend of Lachlan's, well I'm not anymore now I know what he's done!"

"What do you mean? What's he done?" I asked confused.

"I'll tell you everything! But it's a long story! Would you like to go to the coffee shop along the road? It's a lot cosier than this hotel lobby." He exclaimed.

"Yeah that would be nice..." We both walked over to the cafe in almost complete silence; thoughts swirled around in my head, "What could have Lachlan done?" I kept thinking to myself. Mitch found a little table for two in the corner of the cafe and pulled out the chair for me to sit down.

"Thank you,"

"Tea or coffee?" He asked.

"Tea please." He returned rather quickly with two hot drinks in hand.

"So what has Lachlan done?" I prompted trying to start the conversation.

"Oh yes sorry! Lachlan and a few of his friends have made this bet with each other," he started. "And the winner gets a huge amount of cash! We're talking $10,000!"

"That's a lot of money, but I still don't see what this has to do with me."

"The bet is who ever can have sex with a girl first, horrible I know!"

"You're joking?" I responded attempting to hold back my tears.

"I wish I was but I haven't even told you the worst part yet... They have to get photographic evidence of it happening!

"I...I... can't believe it..." I stuttered.

"I'm so sorry I had to tell you, I just didn't want you to be made a fool off as you seem like a really nice girl" he comforted.

"I...just really thought... I might have met a man... who genuinely liked me..." I started.

"How... did you know... I was with Lachlan... last night anyway?" I continued.

"I saw you and him at the club last night together, I really wanted to speak to you but it would have felt a little odd chatting to a girl that my br.. best friend was flirting with. I only found out about the bet once you two left, I'm sorry, if I'd found out earlier I would have alerted you immediately!" He explained.

"It's fine," I said while wiping away the tear which had brimmed in the corner of my eye. "I'm the foolish one here for thinking he did genuinely like me! Thank you for telling me all of this, but I really need to get going now if that's alright?"

"Oh yes yes of course! Sorry for keeping you! Here's my number, just in case you want to text or call me about something." He handed a slip of paper over to me.

"Thank you!" I rushed before striding towards the exit. I practically ran home, fighting the urge to cry. Once I arrived, I collapsed onto my floor and let the waterfall of tears escape my eyes. I was still in disbelief, Lachlan appeared to have genuine feelings for me, how could he fake something like that? Part of me was still hoping it was just one of his friends having a joke but I knew deep down that no one was that sick to make up such a rumour and Lachlan was a fuck boy after all.

'Kate is calling'

"Hello?" I crocked.

"Y/N! What's happened!"

Lachlan's POV:

'Hey Y/N, I was wondering if you'd like to go out tomorrow? Then you can spend the night at mine? I miss you :('

*seen*

I stared at my phone blankly. Why would she leave me on seen?

"I'm sure everything's fine," I thought to myself. "She's probably just checking if she's available." I assured. Pacing around my room, I continuously checked my phone waiting for a response. Hours past and she still hadn't replied so I decided to send her another text.

'Hi, I'm a little worried about you Y/N? Are you ok?'

I sat down and stared at my phone screen.

*seen*

Ok, something was definitely up now! I scrolled through Y/N's followers list in search of a girl named Kate...

"Aha!" I said triumphantly. Now how do I word this...

'Hi Kate, it's Lachlan from the club. Y/N isn't responding to any of my messages, I just wanted to make sure she's ok...'

Kate replied almost immediately.

'You know exactly what you've done! Don't contact either of us again!'

Without another thought I knew exactly what was going on. "Shit..." I mouthed. "She found out about the bet."

I hurriedly flicked through my contacts until I reached Fresh.

'Fresh, Y/N's found out about the bet! Who told her!?' I typed angrily.

'Lachy I'm sorry. Mitch met up with her this morning and told her everything. I tried to talk him out of it but he wouldn't listen...' I chucked my phone across the room in fury!

"That little fucker doesn't know what he's got himself into!"
