Lachlan's POV:
"Could I introduce you to my friends?" I asked.
"Yeah sure, that would be lovely!" Y/N exclaimed.
"Be warned, they are very loud!" I emphasised.
"I doubt they're any louder than mine," She laughed. We both stood up and I reached over to hold Y/N's hand. She smiled at me as I weaved my fingers between hers.
"Boys!" I shouted and in unison they all spun around, pulling the same shocked expression.
"I want you to meet Y/N," I continued. They all smiled at one and other then began to greet her. She eventually ended up having a conversation with Lannan and Elliot which gave me a perfect chance to speak to Fresh.
"Freshy boi."
"Lachy! How's it going?" He asked.
"No word of a lie, it's going perfectly! She's not only lovely to look at, she's also got a great personality!" I exclaimed.
"Some would say you've hit the jackpot Lachy!"
"I really think I have! I'm definitely going to win the bet!" I said proudly.
"I almost forgot about that stupid bet..." he said as he rolled his eyes.
"Have you seen Mitch?" I asked curiously.
"Yeah he came over to us a few minutes ago actually, he said he'd been chatting to a few girls but from the way he said it I assume it didn't go too well!" He responded.
"Yes!!!!" I shouted a little too excitedly.
"Lachy... maybe you should call off the bet..." Fresh started.
"Why would I do that when I'm almost guaranteed the win now??"
"Y/N seems like a really nice girl, you appear to have genuine connection with her! I saw you chatting to her up at the bar and you looked so happy and cheerful! Are you really willing to throw all of that away for a stupid bet?" Fresh said sternly.
"I get where you're coming from but this bet is so important to me! It's my one and only chance to prove to my brother that I can beat him at something! Anyway, I'm going to make sure Y/N never finds out about the bet so I can continue getting to know her after tonight. I get to beat my brother and keep a gorgeous girl. It's a win-win situation if you ask me."
"Whatever you say..." Fresh exclaimed in a disappointed tone.
Y/N's POV:
After chatting with the boys for while, my friends came over to see what was going on as they'd obviously spotted that I was now talking to the group of boys instead of Lachlan individually. Kate rushed over and grasped my hand.
"Excuse us," she said quickly before dragging me away from Lannan.
"Y/N! He held your hand didn't he!" She squealed!
"Yeah he did..." I said nervously. She squealed again jumping up and down like a three year old.
"This... this is just amazing!" She stumbled, unable to get her words out.
"Don't get too excited now, I've only just met the guy!" I laughed.
"It's your turn to fill me in on all the details!" She insisted so I began my recount of everything that had happened.
"... and tonight he's paying me $250 to mode some clothes for his brand!" I continued.
"$250! Is he joking?!?" She exclaimed.
"No he's dead serious! He must be loaded if he's handing out that amount of cash!"
"Does he understand how much that is to broke university students such as ourselves!" She giggled.
"Probably not, if he's rich that amount of money must be like pennies to him!"
"Wait a second..." Kate started.
"What's up?"
"Don't you think it's a little odd..."
"What about it?"
"He's offered you more cash than you got paid for that modelling shoot you did for the whole day a few weeks ago and you're just modelling at his for just an hour... are you sure he isn't compensating for something else you're going to do as well tonight," she whispered.
"Wow, I never thought of it like that," I gasped. "But I honestly don't think he's like that, he doesn't seem like a one-night stand type of guy..."
"Don't get me wrong, he seems lovely but as your best friend I just have to make sure you're going to be careful!" She stated. "Promise me if anything remotely suspicious goes on you'll leave immediately and call me or one of the girls!" Kate pleaded.
"I promise, but I assure you everything will be ok!"
Out of the corner of my eye I spotted Lachlan walking towards us so I hurriedly changed the subject of the conversation.
"Sorry to interrupt ladies," he said. "But I was wondering if Y/N would like to join me on the dance floor."
"If that's ok with you Kate?" I asked.
"You don't need to ask for my permission, you two go ahead!" She laughed. Lachlan wrapped his arm around my waist and we made our way over to the dance floor. The slow music began playing so Lachlan twirled me around so both of his hands could grasp my waist. I stretched my arms around his neck and we swayed to the rhythm of the music. Lachlan's hands gradually crept lower and lower down my waist until they reached my butt. A wave of excitement rushed through me, numbing my body completely, so much so I slipped down Lachlan's body unable to hold myself up but thankfully he caught me mid-fall.
"I'm so sorry Lachlan, I... I..." I stuttered but before I could finish my sentence he pulled me toward his chest and lifted up my chin with his finger.
"May I?" He asked cheekily. I smiled and our lips collided. It's started off very innocent until I pulled his head even closer to mine. He unlocked his lips from mine and grinned.
"That's how you want it," he teased. Instantly, he slid his tongue inside my mouth, dominating the kiss. I ran my fingers though his hair as we began to make out...
"Get a room," a voice shouted. Lachlan and I both looked around, completely forgetting that we were in a public place. Kate, Maddie, Lucy and Lachlan's friends were all standing together laughing, from what I could only presume was from the comment made by one of them.
"Leave them alone Lannan," Kate giggled. "They've both gone red." Once again the group erupted into another fit of laugher.
"Lets take this back to mine," Lachlan whispered in my ear. "Somewhere a little more peaceful and private."
"Sounds like a good idea..."
