Why on Earth had I come to this place tonight? All I could see were the back of heads and the only sound emanating from the crowd around me was screams. I had no idea why; this mob had surrounded me and dragged me off down the street in a flurry. I had just happened to get caught in the middle of it. One girl next to me was jumping up and down excitedly as the mob stopped in front of the local club.

“Excuse me, what is everyone looking at?” I asked her trying not to act like an idiot.

“Harry Styles! That’s what!” She screamed over the loud shouts. Now that I knew what, or who, this was about, I could make out the specific chants.

“Harry! Harry! Harry!” The loud noise and bustling people around me suddenly didn’t seem so appealing. In fact, I felt really ill. There was no way that I was claustrophobic but this wasn’t normal for me.

I had been walking home from work on this cool Saturday night, it wasn’t much different than any other night. I hadn’t eaten anything, done anything, or tried anything different that would make me feel sick; but at this moment I felt nauseous. I doubled over and a few girls looked oddly at me but no one asked if I was okay.

“Urrrgh, I don’t feel so good,” I said mostly to myself, rather hoping someone would hear my plea through the cries of fan girls. I stumbled forward, trying to find an exit from the strangling group of people. I felt myself stumble out onto a carpet as I lay on the ground. I saw a pair of exquisite black shoes racing towards me before I closed my eyes and blacked out.

~2 hours later~

My eyelids fluttered open and the first thing I noticed was how much my head was throbbing. I clutched it and winced. Finally getting a grip and taking in my surroundings I realized that I was in a hospital room. It was obvious, the way the bland wall colours and tacky bed sheets clashed with my pink hospital gown. I was about to try and get up when a noise sounded form the left side of the room, under the open window.

Snoring... that’s what the sound was; coming from the man sprawled out under the window. There were three chairs, and he was taking all of them with his right arm over the right chair and his right leg over the left chair. His face was very subtle as he breathed in quietly. He had curly brown hair and seemed to be dressed pretty fancy for someone who I didn’t know and was sleeping in my hospital room.

“Where’s the ketchup mommy...” He mumbled in his sleep before turning his head, only to smack it against the back of the chair. “Owww.” He groaned and held the back of his head, sitting up. His green eyes blinked open before meeting mine and I realized that I had been watching him so intensely. “So she’s awake!” He smiled at me, showing off several adorable dimples that lined his cheeks.

“Yeah... and you are?”

“Harry.”

“Oh you must be that guy that everyone was screaming about when I got stuck in the mob!” I said brightly, making sense of it all. Harry let out a chuckle.

“Yeah that’s me. So what’s your name?” I sat up farther in my bed as he leaned his elbows on his knees to listen intently.

“Christina Wells. So why are you here?” Harry turned his gaze away to the door for a moment before looking back at me.

“You collapsed on the carpet in front of me. I couldn’t just leave you there now could I?”

“You didn’t have to come with me.” Harry just shrugged as a nurse walked in.

“Morning Miss. Wells. Seems you had quite a night hm?” She said checking several machines next to my bed.

“I guess... do you know why I collapsed?” I asked curiously as she made her way around to the other side of my bed.

“Dehydration. Do you know why you may have become dehydrated?” She asked quizzically.

“Umm... I was working all day. Maybe I didn’t drink enough.”

“That would do it. You didn’t have enough liquid in your system, and the extra adrenaline from the crowd got the best of you- made you feel nauseous and pass out.” This was all so hard to understand, but at least I wasn’t really ill- it was something I could fix easily. “Just make sure that you drink more water as much as possible, and you’re free to go.” She nodded curtly to Harry and I before exiting the room. I sat up hesitantly and looked over at Harry who was walking towards me.

“Look, I’m really sorry about what happened. The fans can get really crazy...”

“Hey don’t worry about it. It wasn’t really their fault; it was mine. Thanks for everything though,” I said brushing it off and grabbing my clothes that were neatly folded next to my bed.

“Well at least let me make it up to you,” Harry’s voice sounded sincere as he pleaded.. Why would a guy like Harry want to do me a favour?

“Like what?”

“Let me take you out to dinner sometime.” This wasn’t really something that I had bothered to worry about, but it seemed like it would be fun.

“Sounds like it would be a blast,” I said enthusiastically. Harry’s face lit up ecstatically.

“Great, so I’ll pick you up on Friday at 7 Christina?” Harry smirked sweetly at me.

“Call me Chrissy.”
