~1 week later~
After moving in with the boys, my life has become four times more interesting as it used to be. Harry has officially arranged for us to go on a date today and I can’t really contain my excitement. I turned up the volume on my ipod speakers and danced sparatically around my room.
“Whenever, Wherever! We’re meant to be together! I'll be there and you'll be near! And that's the deal my dear!” I shouted out the familiar Shakira lyrics until the sound of snickering brought my attention back to reality. “Louis!” He held up his phone and took a picture of me in my large T-shirt and shorts. He laughed and ran back down the hallway.
“Harry your girlfriend’s weird!” I heard him scream from the living room, specifically meant for me to hear him. I stuck my head out the door to hear the rest of the conversation.
“Well then you have some similarities then don’t you,” I couldn’t help but smile at Harry’s comment. “And besides... maybe that’s something I like about her.” I pulled my head back into my room and closed the door, a blush clearly prominent on my cheeks. I turned on my music again and began to dance again. There was no way I had a talent in dancing, or singing for that matter- but that didn’t mean I couldn’t try and have fun.
“Can you PLEASE tell me where we are going?” I pleaded, clinging to Harry’s arm and giving him the puppy-dog face. He smiled but didn’t turn his gaze from the road. Probably because he knew that if he did look at my face he would cave and spill the surprise.
“Nope, still not telling.” Crossing my arms and turning out the window I watched the road and trying to remain as patient as possible. We were in the middle of nowhere, with only sparse pine trees dotting the hillsides on either side of the highway. Excitement coursed through me as I waited for us to arrive at the unknown location. Harry had finally asked me to go on a date, so I really hoped that we could spend some genuine time together without Niall farting or Louis purposefully poking fun at us. Harry turned the steering wheel and I brought my gaze to the road in front of us. We had parked in a parking lot where only a couple other cars were. So it wasn’t exactly vacant... but nobody was really around.
“Come on.” Harry said getting out of the car and taking my hand as I joined him at the front.
“Where are we?”
“You’ll see,” he said keeping his gaze on the path in front of us. It stretched through a layer of brush and undergrowth before opening up. I stared at the view in front of me as if it were Narnia. The gorgeous sand stretched out before our toes, which broke away into the cascading waves of the ocean. The sunset was beginning beyond the horizon sending prisms of colours along the water’s surface.
“Harry its beautiful!” I said and walked hand-in-hand with him down to the water’s edge. It was still way too cold to go swimming since it had only just become May.
“My mom used to bring me and my sister here all the time when we were kids. It still brings back plenty of memories.” I turned my gaze to look at Harry, whose green orbs were staring sweetly at my face.
“I love it,” I said sending him a warm smile and squeezing his hand. I leaned against the side of his body and rested my head on his shoulder as he wrapped his arm gently around my waist. Sighing happily, we both looked out over the ocean’s still water at the paling sky.
“you know why else i brought you here?” I thought for a moment but realized that I couldn’t think of any other good reason why he would have brought us all the way out this specific beach.
“No... why?”
“I wanted to show you something that only I can see.”
“How does that work?”
“This whole place, isn’t even nearly as beautiful as you are.”
“I don’t know about that...” I said, with a blush spreading across my face. Harry let out a soft chuckle.
“If only you could see what I can see. You’d understand why love you so much. Right now.... I am looking straight you and I still can’t believe that you don’t know how beautiful you are.” I lifted my head off of his shoulder and turned to look at him.
“You mean that?”
“Of course. Every word.” He said with a small smile playing at his lips as he looked shyly at the ground. I didn’t even wait for him to answer before I slung my arms around his shoulders and kissed him. Harry kissed me back sweetly right away and pulled me closer to him. Butterflies churned in my stomach- the kiss felt so right and I knew that he was enjoying it just as much because of the way he smiled against my lips.
