Elaina Michaels POV:
I grabbed the ball. Ten pounds. Pink. Fuscia pink. I walked briskly up to the line. I brought my hand back. I extended it. And let go. The ball rolled out of my hands. Farther and farther away. I closed my eyes and crossed my fingers until I heard the oh so familiar sound. I slowly opened my eyes praying. STRIKE!! I am really good at bowling, if I do say so myself, but that does not stop me from doing my happy dance everytime I get a strike or spare. I started dancing around to the music like no one was watching because in my mind no one was. Conicidentally my favorite song was playng and I started bopping to the chorus dancing around the bowling ally. I knew no one from my new school would be here because the bowling ally is 15 minutes away and they probably have better things to do like party and socialize. My thoughts went back to my first highschool party and I could feel the tears stinging my eyes. I shook my head and headed back to return my bowling shoes. There was a guy who looked my age at the counter and I handed him my shoes.
"Your total is 15 dollars." The guy said not bothering to look at me. After he finally finsihed typing on the cash register, he met my gaze. He had the most gorgeous pair of brown eyes I have ever seen. And his hair was so soft...
"Hello? Anyonethere?" He said snapping me out of my daze.
"Erm...sorry, I tend to zone out. What were you saying?"
"You still have to pay me..."
"Oh sorry!" I handed him the money.
"By the way, I know I'm sexy, but next time don't stare..." He whispered leaning closer to me.
"Ugh! I don't fall for bad boys." I huffed crossing my arms.
"Mhmmm sure. The names Black, Leo Black" He said wating for me to reply. There was no way I was going to give this random stranger my name.
"The name is league. Outta your league." I mentally high fived myself.
"Nice try but if anything I am out of your league, Dancy girl." He smirked leaning closer.
"At least now you know how awesome I dance!" I smirk back moving a little farther away. I know guys like this who do not even care about personality. Never have never will. This is not one of those Romance books I read where the good girl ends up falling for the bad boy. Or if it is, I am not a good girl. But I do know enough to stay away from him. I also know no one is stupid enough to do anything in a public place.
"Here is some advice Leo. Keep looking. I am not the good girl to go with your bad boy. I am not and never will be one of your girls. But I will also not be one of those girls who fawn over you. I am the normal nobody who does not end up with love." I reply smirking back.
"Who says I'm searching for a good girl?" He replies.
"No one. Everyone." I reply vaguely, "Bye Lee."
"Don't call me that." He growls.
"Humans are not meant to growl, Lee." I reply before leaving the bowling alley.
Lee bowling alley! THEY RHYMEEE....
Heyo! So I thought of this story when I was bowling and dancing to the music while everyone was watching me haha. Yeah this was depicted after me. Also the entire nothing will happen to me chant is something I would say a lot when I was younger because I used to be scared of the dark. I mean if any of you have fears It takes your mind off of them and it helped me growing up.
Anyways thanks for reading.
