"BEFORE YOU KILL ME, IT WAS MEANT FOR AL"

Before you ask, "IT AIN'T ME!!!"  - Ellie 20-never happened-19

Leo POV:

"Heh, Leo. Turns out Ellie needs some things from the drugstore. I would go, but I better watch the Jughead Leos in case they try attacking us..." Al nervously said, scratching the back of his head.

"And why, may I ask, do you think the Jughead Leo's would try attacking the Venn Scorpios?" I asked, scrunching my eyebrows, clearly realizing the suspicious behavior from Al's nervousness, shaky voice, to his head scratch. 

"J...j...just in case, you know. Can never be too sure with our number 1 enemy eh?" Al replied, still nervous.

"Is there anything going on that I don't know of? And why do we need to get something for Ellie, she is not staying here much longer?" Okay, what the heck is going on.

"I don't have to answer to you!" Al shot back.

"Mhmmm..." I replied, taking the list anyways and heading to the drugstore.

When I got down there and looked at the list, I immediately knew why Al asked me to go. The only thing listed was tampons. No way in hell was I going to get those. I am a gang leader! But I did not have a choice if I did not want blood stuck on my carpet. I reluctantly grabbed a random pack, by the way, why are there so many kinds???!!! I headed down to the checkout center and saw a girl about my age standing there, chewing some gum. As soon as she saw me, she started batting her eyes.

"Heyyyyy, are those for your sister?" She replied biting her lips.

"Something like that..." I mumble hurrying out of the store. As I left, I noticed the girl wrote her number on the receipt. Ugh, gotta get rid of that. I hurried back into the room where Ellie was. She looked up at me with a confused face.

"Lee, what are you doing here. You found me! Hallelujah!" She laughed her sweet laugh.

"Erm...I brought the supplies you needed," I coughed, blushing uncomfortably.

"What supplies?" She asked scrunching her nose, adorably, in confusion. God no, please don't make me say it. I could feel my cheeks heating up in embarrassment as I showed her the plastic bag.

"Awww, you are blushing," She laughed. Is it bad to admit that I wanted to hear her laugh again and again, and again?

"You are not mad at me?" I asked. After what happened this morning, I did not think she would forgive me, especially after how scared she looked. I'll admit, it hurt me a lot seeing how scared she was because of me. She did not deserve someone like me. Wait, what am I saying, no one said we are going to date or anything, snap out Leee this instant! And stop using that stupid annoying nickname she gave you while you are at it! Wait a minute, she is not mad at me!

"The boys told you didn't they?" I was going to kill them!!!! It is not like I did not have the means to...

"No, they did not. They made it extremely clear that they could not tell me or you would kill them, I assume. Also, you certainly have the means to," exactly what I was thinking. Damn, is this girl a mind reader, cause if she is, then help me, I am doomed. Especially with the recent thoughts of her that have been occupying my mind. 

"They did, however, say that you could not be blamed and you did not want me to end up like Angel. I figured it was too early to pry into your past, but if the boys say you are not to blame, I trust them. Especially Jade, who can't lie to save his life. Well, I guess he can, but if you look closer, when he lies he starts chewing on his tongue," she continues ranting. For some reason, it bothered me knowing that she was memorizing the small details about Jayden.

"Plus," she continued, "If anyone were to be mad, it should be you. You see, well, the entire period thing was a prank. BEFORE YOU KILL ME, IT WAS MEANT FOR AL BECAUSE HE LEFT ME ALONE WHILE I WENT TO THE BATHROOM AND DID NOT KNOW HOW TO FIND MY WAY BACK!" She ranted all at once.

"I'll give you 10 seconds to run, Ellie," I stare blankly at her.

"DID YOU NOT HEAR ME? I DON'T KNOW MY WAY AROUND THIS HOUSE. I MEAN IT MIGHT AS WELL BE THE SIZE OF EARTH!"

"10..." I started.

"Ahhhhhhhh," was the last thing she said before she jumped up and ran all the way down the hallway as I chuckled watching her run as fast as she could, which was pretty fast considering how short her legs were.

My friends and I were texting and we decided that if we had a gang we would name it Venn Scorpio (Venn being the beginning of each of our names). Also, I'm a LEO!! What zodiac are you guys? And Grammarly is literally pissing the hell out of me. Sure it has helped me a lot with my writing, but now there are red lines everywhereee!
